Because while I agree with you,the graphics are amazing I`m more for enjoying the immersion of a game which to my mind is more important than graphics.Having the choice of staying in 1st person view taken away from me and forced to go into 3rd person destroys that immersion
Immersion is all well and good, but tell me, how would you even know that you were a werewolf in first person view? Your hands would be different. That's it. I mostly play in 1st person, but I do switch to 3rd every now and then, too. And in Morrowind and in (modded) Oblivion, when I played a werewolf, I
always stuck to 3rd. Why?
Because I wanted to see the werewolf. Having hairy hands didn't really cut it for me. In Skyrim, as a werewolf, I can lope along the ground and tilt my head up and howl at the moon. Seeing my werewolf act like a werewolf is
far more immersive for me than seeing my hairy palms ever was.
