How to make a vendor have limitless gold...................

Being soloplayer means there is no exploit. Exploit is something that people do to gain whatever benefit over other players in MMORPGs - you can't exploit a game that only you are playing. You can cheapen the game for yourself, I suppose - but still, it's simply up to each person who plays a solo game whether that's important or not.

I suppose "snarling" was the wrong word. It's hard to parse tone from words on a screen, and it's late here so I'm not maybe getting my mental "thesaurus" together. It seemed as if you were denigrating the person for even asking, not to mention if s/he really WAS "cheating".

LOL. Really? LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL.

YES, you CAN exploit in a solo game. Hell, single player games is WHERE IT STARTED. Exploiting is simply to find a way around things. It has not, and NEVER has been limited to MMORPGs, or ANY on-line game EVER. Why you think this, I don't know, but it is a silly idea to think it.

a link for you. http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/exploiting

it would be nice if they added even 500 gold 4 the console merchants in next update specially since there is trophy 4 gold cuz as is now at lvl 45 the loot is sold 1 piece per shop and mages definitely nedd more money cuz staffs are pricey

Sorry, but I don't see how anything he chooses to do in his own solo game can be denigrated as an exploit. Now if he's in multiplayer, it's different. But really, snarling at people for whatever they choose to do on their own private machine, solo-player, is just being snarky for no reason.

[Oh, and wolf.... There's a mod available which gives each vendor either 2k or 10k gold. Infinitely easier than mutzing about....]
People like this are reason why Bethesda doesn't want to put more effort in making game better and simply dumbs it down.
SP games are actually ones which need to be perfectly balanced (even though it's a totally different sort of balance of what MP games should have, but I'm not gonna explain it since no one is going to understand it) and exploit-free in order to be good!
Imagine if Doom had an exploit or some imbalanced crap which would make a game too easy.
Do you really think that it would be any good game and that it would become popular as it is now?
Same can be said for Contra; the game was awesome because it was a challenge!
What's the point of playing the SP game if it doesn't present any challenge to you?
And screw all that self control crap!
Video games are made so people can go nuts and blow their steam out, real life is place where people have to show self control!
A game which ask me to go easy on it is a bad game - fact - period!

OT:
Are people serious?
You actually want merchants to have MORE gold?
Really!?
As if earning gold wasn't easy enough already. >_>
Honestly, people who wish to make game imbalanced can do so via mods and cheats, but please don't complain about a perfectly good feature and cry to Bethesda to do the cheating for you.

As waiting a day brings the same result as this, I can hardly call it exploit. More a shortcut.
I wouldn't call it even that since it seems to me that waiting a day takes less time. :P

It can also be helpful if you use merchants in a hold/city where you've done tons of quests and pretty much helped everyone there. Doing favor quests and helping out the citizens of a hold has an noticeable effect on most of the resident merchants gold reserves related to how much questing you've done there. In solitude for example most of the merchants have upwards of 2-3 thousand gold and there are a bunch very close to each other.

There must be a glitch for some people then because that most certainly isn't true for me in any of the holds, and I've done a very, very large number of quests everywhere, and I'm a thane in every hold. Almost every single merchant in the entire game for me has between 500-750 g, outside of the thieves guild.

find a vendor who is also a trainer -> most of the jarls mages are also trainers and magic book vendors who will also buy Jewelry -> sell your crap -> buy 5 levels of training -> sell more crap. while not always the best ite as your trading items for training instead of gold for traiding if all you has was some no enchants no gem jewelry ( eg crafting 50 gold rings from gold ore after transmuting iron ore into gold) then it's a great way to dump your stash and lower your carry ammount.

I have tried the 24 hour wait that doesn't work for me but haven't tried the 48 yet, but it takes about 30 seconds to save the game quit to DT then restart and load for me......Skyrim is the fastest loading game I have every had.

Also thanks for the mod info Jaelli I will have to check it out.

Beth should have made sure the vendors had enough gold to buy the most expensive piece of loot for said vendor market, none of the Blacksmith's have enough gold to buy Ebony armor I don't need, let alone the suit I enchanted.

I read somewhere that fast traveling from Riften to Makareth (sp?) takes about 1 day of game time. So unload all inventory that you can in Riften, then fast travel to Makareth and unload what you can. Then fast travel back to Riften and it'll be two days so the vendors will have restocked.
