Shadowmere was a chick in Oblivion (even though the horse model has male junk), but Astrid uses male pronouns in this game, so Skyrim's Shadowmere is a dude.

Although it's certainly possible Shadowmere is some kind of daedra and is thus genderless.

If I could enchant Shadowmere I'd rename her to [censored]-a-saurus.

The name itself implies it is a female.

Mare = female horse.

Shadowmere is pronounced "Shadow Mare."

Shadow"mere" is a daedric spawn of Sithis, therefore genderless. And by the way Dovahkiin is misspelled in your siggy, possibly in this too.
