Was anyone else PO'ed when they put the 15 mins into grinding a dragon down only to have their victory stolen away from them via Shadowmere, plunging into combat like a prancing [censored] proceedind to kick the dragon in a manner so gauche, a sneeze would have looked more effective?

A nitpick, but who cares if he stole the kill? Soul's yours either way.

Lol, I was like sunuva!- but I guess I did get the soul, I can finally unlock the ethereal shout I found, so I shouldn't complain. I still wish she could stay at the stables though.

Shadowmere was a chick in Oblivion (even though the horse model has male junk), but Astrid uses male pronouns in this game, so Skyrim's Shadowmere is a dude.

Although it's certainly possible Shadowmere is some kind of daedra and is thus genderless.

If I could enchant Shadowmere I'd rename her to [censored]-a-saurus.

The name itself implies it is a female.

Mare = female horse.

Shadowmere is pronounced "Shadow Mare."

Shadow"mere" is a daedric spawn of Sithis, therefore genderless. And by the way Dovahkiin is misspelled in your siggy, possibly in this too.
