Hircine? where did your brutal demon voice and appearance go

Post » Thu May 31, 2012 11:38 am

Whoa, calm down there, OP, take a few steps back, we're all friends here.

I liked how Hircine was handled in Skyrim. I mean, yeah, it was awesome seeing him "in-person" in the Bloodmoon expansion and all, but we aren't going to see him in such a way in Mundus with no excuse. Daedric Princes can't manifest like that in Mundus except on their Summoning Day, and I'll be damned if Skyrim is going to force the player to wait for a specific day just to do one quest. Pretty much all of the Daedric Princes get the same treatment.

Yes, it's the Adoring fan voice actor... Doesn't sound as badass as he did in Bloodmoon to say the least.

then I guess you love the fact that they removed first person in werewolf form aswell then? well, well I guess you didn't like Bloodmoon in the first place, since you think Hircine is awesome in Skyrim for some reason
you can like both just fine if you're not alienated by change.

Omg I haven't played blood moon am I allowed to post here?

Why not? All you need to know is that this guy loves to hunt and is obsessed with the notion of predator v. prey. (He, of course, being the predator.)

Even though I'm not a real fan of morrowind and all that.
I DO agree that Hircine sounded ridiculous in Skyrim. I think they used to guy who voiced the elves in Oblivion. It's something that brings back a lot of horrible memories.
He has the same frikking voice as the Adoring Fan for christs sake! And even if it isn't the same voice, they picked on of the worst to do it.

And the quest on it's own wasn't that good too. The werewolf went down way too easily.

Quest is nice, sounded better in bloodmoon, elves svck, one of your ancestors mated with dragon thus creating dragonborn.

Do you actually encounter any of the Daedra in their full on scary forms in Skyrim? I thought that they were all pretty much limited to agents, avatars and apparitions since Oblivion?

Apart from sanguinus you also see nocturnal in the flesh, when you finish the nightingale quest.

It svcks that his voice changed. I mean, I was so pissed when I heard that giggling loon Sheogorath have the same voice from Oblivion and Lucien Lachance too. Now Hircine, the Lord of Manbeasts who had his own expansion...had the voice of a mustache twirling hunter? Hell no!

I didn't like the voice of Hermaeus Mora. It was too cartoony. This absolutely ruined my experience with Skyrim. Why couldn't they use the same voice from Oblivion? They also screwed up his avatar. HM is an eerie squid creature from the world of the unknown, but they used a different model than before that does not match the statue in Oblivion. I hate my life, I hate Skyrim, and I hate Bethesda. Where's my $59.00? Bethesda owes me an apology and a refund.

yeaaah I belive you have not played bloodmoon att all ;) why? in Bloodmoon you could run allot faster, you could jump much higher, you could see your stats as werewolf, you could hunt in first person and see your claws infront of you, you got a better vision. And yet you say removing nearly every aspect of this in skyrim is okay? You could also use hircines ring when you wanted to, you didn't have the same stupid timelimit we have in skyrim. So yeah. Well god thing you enjoy skyrim atleast ;) I do to belive it or not, it has many great aspects and I really like it, but it has many flaws aswell
You forgot forced transformations.

There are things I liked and disliked about Hircine and werewolves, I really don't care too much about being forced into 3rd person view in beast form, however I think they messed up the werewolves ability to jump and they should be somewhat stronger than they are but not as strong as in Bloodmoon.
And I thought Hircine was fine in Skyrim he didn't need to be in his true form just for one quest I think he should be in his true form in a situation like in Bloodmoon. I like the way they made Hircine talk in Skyrim I just wish he had a deeper voice like in Bloodmoon.

I just wish Sheogorath had a different and very lame voice too. It's only fair.
