Crash on start after deleting deactivated mods

My game crashes when it starts after I've deleted several deactivated mods. I tried validating the local files of the game with steam but that hasn't fixed it. I am unable to locate any crash or error logs for skyrim either (not sure if skyrim generates any). I've tried previous saves and have gotten no result.
From memory the mods that I deleted are:
Midias Magic
XCE
Fixed Followers Lite
Black Sabbath Main menu music

and the one that's most likely to be causing this was a mod I made myself that changes the soul trap spell into a projectile. I am a complete newb when it comes to the CS so deleting this mod may have deleted some needed file.

I deleted the mods using the skyrim launcher. Any help would be appreciated.

Update: When I try to start a new game I get the following messages
WETrigger<(01099883)> WARNING: OnInit() MyHoldLocation property has not ben set, this will result in errors.
WETrigger<(010D13EA)> WARNING: OnInit() MyHoldLocation property has not ben set, this will result in errors.
WETrigger<(01099887)> WARNING: OnInit() MyHoldLocation property has not ben set, this will result in errors.

FIXED:
After some googling I found a solution to my problem. At first I uninstalled and reinstalled the CK with no change. I then Went into C:\\AppData\Local\Skryim\ and when I checked the DLCList.txt, plugins.txt and SteamModList.txt I found that they listed either incomplete lists or refferenced some of the mods I deleted (XCE in two and a mod that adds effects for drinking alchol in another file) so I cut and pasted the files to another location and then started skyrim through the normal launcher (using a launcher that starts SKSE will not rebuild these files) and it fixed my problem.

From this I gather that the errors were caused by the Steam application trying to load mods that did not exsist. I use both the steam workshop and the nexus mod manager and I think I caused this error by having the steam skyrim launcher open (while it was updating mods) and trying to open the nexus mod manager. I hope this helps anyone who has this problem in the future.

I had become just a same situation, and now I can play my Skyrim again.
Thanks for your valuable information.
