Taste of Death, AKA: How I learned to accept cannibalism

I thought it was a myth that eating your own kind was damaging or something? You just take a bite anyway its not like you chug down pounds of flesh. I dont see morally wrong choise in killing one priest and taking a bite of human flesh if you use the given reward to do acts of good.

If I murder one man, then I can become a superhero. And then I can save people and stuff. So murder is OK. Hahahahahaha :)

Bringing up this thread instead of making a new one. I'm thoroughly grossed out and there's no way I'm finishing this quest. After fighting the draugr and hearing what Eola wanted, I'm just going to reload to before I went into the cave and head back to Markarth. Live priest and live merchants...fine by me. I don't care about the ring and I don't do the worst of the Daedra quests. haha. ICK! :D

If not for completionist purposes and the vendors being present, I would've slaughtered everyone. I was disgusted. My character may be evil, but he has standards.

Thanks, I'm glad I'm not alone. :D I'm also glad I don't watch the achievements closely. It's ok if I get some and ok if I don't. It's playing the game I really care about. I think I'll get back in there and continue on with something else. I don't think Markarth is going to be my favorite place though.

For the sake of completion(to get all artifacts) I went through with this quest but i found it rather distasteful. Then again half of daerdric quests requires you to lie steal murder or eat someone. :yuck: Im on the last daedric quest and i cant bring myself to proceed because it requires me to do some incredibly evil.

whats anoying is all of them so far become nothing but shiny paperweights in my campsite anyways.

I'm an Argonian so it's technically not cannibalism

Did it once to complete all the Daedric quests but won't ever again. Ring is not worth it to begin with and eating the dead is way beyond repulsive to me.

One night after roaming as a werewolf i fell asleep and when I woke up I was a human again, but I had a little bit of human flesh stuck my mouth and between my teeth, so i ate it, and realized I like the taste of humans. So I had no problem doing the quest.

I didn't mind it, nowhere near as gritty as Fallout 3's cannibalisms.

My issue was not so much cannibalism. Bosmer are already cannibals so there is that.

But what's evil is that they goes out of their way to eat human flesh. If you listen to the merchant it is like some sort of Skooma addiction.

If their attitude is more like "no meat should go to waste", as opposed to "I do it because I love the taste of human flesh", it would have gone much better with me.

So I decided to save the priest and feed all the cannibals to my ebony blade.

I killed the guy just to see what the ring is about. After a few more eating, I stopped wearing the ring as it impedes my looting skill greatly

Besides, I just like keeping NPCs there, in case I need to buy a dog or sell stuff to the general store
