I want to get good at conjuration

Post » Sat Jun 02, 2012 3:37 am

But I need info on it and how it works. Wiki didn't help that much, like where exactly do I become a beast a conjuration, how it works, where are spell tombs, ect.

Thanks
Cheers

its mostly just perks you take but you need a certian skill level to get certain perks, if you want to raise your skill level you can cast soul trap on anything dead and that will raise conjuration...once your conjuration is 100 you can take the top perk that lets you conjure two things at once and make you take the perk that doubles the duration for antronachs.

The Court Mage in Whiterun sells a ton of spell books. Soul Trap is one of them, as well as Summon Flame Atronach. Try Dragonsreach in Whiterun.

the easiest way to gain levels at first is to use bound sword.

then you take the perk that halves novice spell magika cost and start using other spells.

conjure familiar, soul trap etc.

have fun

Thanks, very helpful, it seems like it's going to be fun! Any other places that are good for tombs? And what's the archmage, like how do I become that and what does the quest line involve.

"Tombs" = Tomes? As in spell books? As pointed out above, those are available from the court wizards in each of the nine holds, as well as the spell teachers in the College of Winterhold, which is in...Winterhold.

As for which tombs, as in dungeons, might contain conjuration specific tomes...they're all over the place, really. Just explore. You'll come across them.

In the meantime, go to a court wizard (like the guy at Dragonsreach, in Whiterun), and buy some basic conjuration spells. Like conjure familiar. Then cast your familiar all the time to get your skill up. The higher-level spell tomes will only become available as your conjuration increases, so don't expect to be able to buy a "Conjure Dremora Lord" spell right at the beginning.

My first Skyrim character was a mage specializing in conjuration and destruction. Paired together, it's a very formidable combination. You should have fun.

Summon familiar, cast banish daedra on it.. have magestone and a spouse to sleep with for a 35% skill rate increase. You will reach 100 quickly. Go to winterhold, and find the guy that sells conjuration spells.

SPOILER

He will have you do a quest that will let you buy expensive but unending conjuration spells. Conjure ANY atronoch or dead humanoid forever.
Dead thrall is nice.. the zombie gets dropped they dont turn to ashes.. just resurrect them.. I have two vampire mistwalker escorts now hehe.
