Seems some people CAN'T READ, the saying is "Then I took an arrow in the knee" NOT "Then I took an arrow to the knee"

When you say it wrong you look stupid and you make it less funny.

It really wasn't that funny to begin with. The guard memes from Morrowind and Oblivion were used much more sparingly and weren't just tossed around in hopes of getting a laugh.
