This dude is evil. I encountered his quest, but out of role-playing reasons, I kind of want to play the "good guy" who does not want to obey a demonic quest-line. However, in doing so, do I forever forfeit any rewards I could have gotten by obeying him and doing the quest willingly? I feel like willingly doing something evil is against my character's character, but I did sort of already obey him in a sense. It's just that he asked me to do something really terrible. If I ask him to release me, could I do the 2nd part of the quest and get the reward later, or do I need to pretend that his will is something I want to take part in while I'm in his presence in order to get my reward from him?
I'm stuck deciding whether to help the deadric prince or not.
In order to clarify, there is a skirmish for who will get a reward from the daedra, and the stronger person would find an opportunity to go down and retrieve the rewards from the daedra. The thing is, he asks me to do more for him. Either my reward is sinfully earned through a murder, or my reward is freedom.... freedom for having to go through the quest? Surely there are consequences that I dodge when choosing to be free from it, or are there NO consequences for assisting a daedric overlord?
