Note also that the Daedra and Aedra are more of demigod status rather than all-powerful divines like Akatosh, Talos etc

I admit I haven't done all the quests, but most of the daedric item quests aren't exactly of the soul selling variety. Sure they might tarnish your soul somewhat, but the only daedra I've encountered who actually makes a deal for your service in death is nocturnal, and she doesn't exactly give you an item as barring the nightingale power you have all the rewards for that part before you make the deal. Hircine seems to own the souls of werewolves, but only if they remain werewolves.

Maybe one of the ones I haven't done yet makes a deal for your soul, and a lot of them certainly want you to do a great deal of evil, but aside from Nocturnal I don't actually see much "goods for soul" going on. Goods for amusemant sure, goods because you'll use them for evil also sure, goods for the soul of someone else, that too, but very little soul exchange beyond some idea that any exchange with daedra fundamentally involves your soul which isn't true.

So... if I die a werewolf, it's Hircine that claims me and not Akatosh. Is that right?
Also, who would be better you think? Where would you rather your eternal soul dwell?

I've also said things in other related threads.They have literally an eternity to play "timeshare" with your soul. Plus you discount that maybe akatosh isn't exactly pleased with your "trolling" efforts and ignoring the importance of where your own soul belongs. I say they're all gonna get a slice of the pie , none of the service contracts would necessarily have to exclusive.Just a little meeting by the real estate board and some agreements hashed out , and viola! You're spending a few thousand years with each of them.Kind of a fitting fate for being careless with your own soul I'd say.Plus that mental picture makes me laugh.
