If you do all the daedric quests/faction quests you end giving your soul to a bunch of godlike entities, but if you do the MQ the basically your going to Sovngarde no matter what because your basically a badass hero. I could only imagine the daedric princes fighting eachother over the soul of a dragonborn, then the dragon born comes into the room and is like:

I saved the world from certain destruction im going to Sovngarde, problem?

Then in unison the daedric princes yel FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

Why would they argue with Sithis? Sithis isn't sapient or even sentient. If you're talking about the DB Diety they worship. The nightmother is most likely Mephala messing with them. So you're swearing service to Mephala, not some unwitting force of is-not.

If you cured yourself of lyncanthropy, then the only Daedra who really has any claim to your soul is Nocturnal, and I doubt she'd really give a damn if you brushed her off for Sovngarde. Just because you have Daedric artifacts doesn't mean your soul belongs to that Daedra.

However, if you're still a werewolf, Hircine will snatch you out of Sovngarde before you get to the Hall of Valor. Tough luck.

And yeah, Sithis isn't a god or anything at all. He's too personified in the DB and it's leading people to think he's an actual thing.

Or better yet, perhaps the Dragonborn can mess with the Daedra all he wants to because in reality he is Talos incarnate come to exact retribution on the Thalmor. Right after he kills an old enemy first. That would explain how he suddenly appears right when the world is about to become unmade. Hmmm...now that has possibilities.

I don't know what game you guys are playing but so far I've made deals with the daedric princes along the lines of trading the Brooklyn bridge, Parthenon, pyramids, etc for whatever cool gadget they offered.

i do have a qustion about the whole silithis thing, my "ghost"friend who lives in the great beyound tells me that Silithus dosent want a certian 'someone" killed. Isnt silithus an actual deadric or is it one of those that is basically nothing until people are worshipping it then the worship gives it 'life" type of thing with silithus. dunno, kinda thru me off an 'old friend" told me that Silithus didnt want someone killed..dunno can someone explain?




as far as the Main post.....i have wondered about this myself playing as in i dont even have to think twice or for a sec before signing the toon's soul away seeign hwo it was alrdy sold like 8 times alrdy.......i cant even fatho the custody agreement they gonna have to come up with or hell the whole them sitting down for the whoel custody agreement in the first place......Hircine gets the Db on every other tuesday, nocturnal gets him every 5 ock on fridays to sundays...etc etc........its gonna be an exciting afterlife for my DB, get to visit so many places lol

Shor is not the "God of Death". There is no god of death in the Elder Scrolls universe. The closest equivalent is the Dreamsleeve, which is sort of the undercurrent of the universe where unclaimed mortal souls go when they die to be recycled and reused.

I participated in another thread about this(-ish), and I will say the same as before: I believe that your nature as a dovah will give Akatosh first rights to your soul.
That said, yes the daedric princes get pretty much trolled when they give away their artifacts against his/her soul.

Daedra are nearly all powerfull entities. They know what your are and if they are making a deal with you is because they know you can't scape it. The fact that you can give your soul to more than a single daedra is just a plot hole.
