Here's another reason to NOT trust Saadia:

Spoiler
If you help the Alik'r capture Saadia, Thalmor agents will come after you.

She was rude to me the first time we met, so I turned her in. My assassin/thief character can be a bit of a backstabber sometimes.

She was rude, so there was no way I was going to help her.

that's a radiant story event. It has nothing to do with the quest's outcome. It happened to me and I didn't even start the quest.

Saadia's apparently a former noble with a giant scar on her face, and living on the run in squalor. I gotta feel pity for her.

Speaking of that scar, why does Kematu try to use the excuse that you shouldn't let a pretty face fool you?

I mean, she's pretty, but she's obviously been a little deformed by something or someone. I don't understand that line. There's probably a lot more story to that scar than we're being told.

I sided with the Alikir on my first character. Been ignoring the quest for almost an entire ingame year now on my 2nd character - but I tend to side more with Saadia in the future. The thought of her being transported like that does not sit well with me. And when I met Nazir in his almost identical outfit as the one donned by the Alikir warriors, I felt even worse about that.

If she's a liar, I don't care. I'm not the law.
You don't like the Alik'r because another redguard dresses like they do? aroo?

I hate traitors. A proud country like the Hammerfell who stuck it to the Thalmor- if she actually did what they say, it's monstrous. And her story is ludicrous, so I'm inclined to believe them over her.

I aid Kematu. He's honest, friendly and is an alik'r warrior, what more can you ask for?
Saadia on the other hand tries to threaten me with a knife and treats me like some [censored].

And hell if Kematu asked me to take her back to Hammerfell for him while he packs up, I'd do so willingly and happily.

Saadia reminded of Karliah, how she was betrayed and was wanted to be killed, so yes I helped her.

if you are playing on high difficulty it might be smart to side with the Alik'r as they can easy kill you. Their story makes more sense anyway.

Last time I sided with her and now I have two reaguards at the gate in Whiterun all the time.

The other mystery is why Huldra at the Banned mare don't have a tail  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huldra

Not necessarily that difficult. Force shouting is a good way to split them up and pick off a few at a time. Deal with Kematu last.

edit: As for story, I don't know if it's better or not. There are a lot of stories where people made mistakes or rescued the wrong people. It's kind of fun to me if there is a possibility that I was wrong about Saadia, and I get to revisit it later. I don't want to do everything right anyways. It's not a test or anything.... or is it? Heh.

I killed those two lingering redguards later. My character's a bit paranoid.

I helped Saaida the first time, and the two Redguards posted at the Whiterun main gate were nothing but nice to me every time I passed by them. Extremely nice actually. The second time I played Saaida seemed like a liar to me.

Either way, Hammerfell is against the Thalmer. Even if she was innocent, I'm happy the make that mistake; it's their problem.
