Very like fallout i think

That's because Fallout 3 isn't a shooter. It's an RPG. If anyone was going into it expecting it to be like an FPS, of course they'd be disappointed. Just because it has guns that doesn't mean it's an FPS.

Yes. Plus I doubt in Rage we'll be able to loot the dead as in Fallout 3, FNV, where you can scavenge weapons, armor, gear and trinkets to collect. In Rage, I'm guess the most we'll scavenge are weapons and ammo. If we can take armor and other stuff, all the better. It's probably one of the MAIN reasons I'm still playing Fallout 3 two years later...

Game developpers are running out of ideas. We're doomed!
Seriously, The Post-Apocalyptic idea is old like war and is still a great idea. It's not a copy of anything.

Reminds me much more of Mad Max than the Fallout series.

In our first podcast, Nick and I talked with Todd Howard and Tim Willits at QuakeCon and brought up the fact that people see similarities. You can listen to Tim's answer in the interview here:

I think Bethesda took major strides in reworking the Obsidian Fallout universe when they artfully devised FO3, making the game a true representation of three parts of humanity. A struggle for governmental control versus a plea for humanitarian ideals set against the torrent landscape of mankind left to his own isolated devises. This does not try to tackle such raw and complex variables. This is man against the world, a mutated dark and twisted world that is the consequence for being a bad, bad species.

The Fallout series was created by Interplay, not Obsidian.

Yes i know fallout didn't invent post apocolyptia but seriously the artwork looks like the original f03 artwork, its got mutants, raiders, buildings made from scraps and the enclave...sorry "authority" broadcasting their message via robots throughout the Wasteland. And its not even open world.

I dunno, I'm just wondering whether it'll be worth getting if its just cashing in on FOs success. I love Bethesda's games in general and own almost all the ones published in the last few years but something about this one cries ripoff to me..

Just my thoughts

Please--you need to study the history of Id before posting EVER AGAIN.--They pioneered the way for game developers to make Fallout and every other shooter. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Id_Software#History
