I believe the term is skyrimmer though i do agree it has some negative connotations. Skyrimite sounds like a breed of mutant flying termites.

Hmmm..a discussion for another thread.

Anyways, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hzmr2CcDXAU&list=PL2338B2A07BCCD5A7&index=18&feature=plpp_video got posted last night! I finally hit a point where I think conjuration + follower is going to work well. 2nd video doesn't have my voice, but I'm sure you needed a break from it anyways.

Signed up to the forums (been lurking awhile) just to reply to your thread. I have a similar character I power levelled to test out some things. He started out as sneak/speech/illusion/pickpocket/lockpicking. I just wanted to stay in town to rob people and to see if I could make enough to buy the big house in Solitude.

I then decided to add in conjuration and actually started doing quests with him. He has 100 hp, is level 32ish and has never killed anyone except for a few guys in the ratways.

His strategy is very similar to yours. He sneaks around and stays invisible 100% of the time. I'll equip invisible and fury in both hands and then infuriate some people and immediately invisible again. Once they start fighting each other I summon a familiar in the middle of the fight and turn invisible again. I think the little line/eyeball while stealthed has to be at least slightly open for this to work. It's actually very easy to clear most things. Wait until I get double summons...

Edit: Looking forward to checking out your videos as well. Bookmarked.

Speaking from experience; anything with Conjuration is extremely easy. Conjuration would probably be my favorite school of magic but it definitely falls under easiest too. A Necromancer only conjurer would be harder until you get undead thrall, but then it would get trivial again.

In addition, any sort of power gaming conjuration is simply insanely easy, and silent casting, plus stealth removes 100% of the challenge entirely. If you add a follower to any game play through it just makes it that much more easy. I recall you mentioning paralyze; its only marginally helpful and ends up eating more magicka for summons early on and by the late game its so unnecessary with the powerful summons, you won't bother wasting magicka casting it when you have dremora lords. Your pillar tactic will work 100% of the time, and when that's not an option its simply back pedal your way behind a new summoned minion and let them get beaten down.

I did a play through where I could only use Illusion Magic and could only kill with the Wabbajack, talk about hard/tedious. It wasn't that bad, but I lost interest after beating Alduin in Sovengarde. The hardest fight was obviously in Skuldafn with two dragons and pile of death lords.

More often than not I simply left lots of critters as mudcrabs and rabbits and just went on by. The benefit for dragons is you only get the elemental explosions with the Wabbajack while using it against dragons.

If I could make an Illusion only build work without being brain-numbingly tedious I would. Though it would be easy to accomplish for the zero kills playthrough. Basically the Whiterun Dragon would be killed by the guards and the immortal Irileth and the Kynesgrove Dragon killed by the Immortal Delphine. Parthauunax would kill Alduin's first form and the three heroes and Tsun the second.

Not sure how much you are trying to get out of this, but you can use the Midden Atronach Forge to make you Atronach Staves and Tomes very early on and rock the big summons early. You can run with just the Storm Atronach through 50% of the game without every batting an eye. You can get all of the items needed to make the staves from the College and can obtain one at no cost as soon as you finish the Saarthal Quest.

You can skip the summons and power level conjuration to 100, and summon unbound dremora at the Atronach Forge and bind two as your permanent undead thralls. The shortest quickest path to power is to buy soul trap, get your Conjuration up to 75 by soul trapping/waiting a dead corpse, rabbit, bandit etc until there. Then get the 2.5k you need to buy summon dremora lord from Phinis and summon dremora lords to destroy everything.

Videos 20 and 21 are up! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YrXNDHmGXPo&list=PL2338B2A07BCCD5A7&index=20

I've been away from the house for a long time and have only gotten to play in small spurts, but I put up what I can.

To everyone saying "conjuration is easy because you can just powerlevel it and whatnot"....that would be extremely boring to watch. For personal gain, yeah, whatever, but when I'm recording everything, nobody wants to sit around and watch me summon things repeatedly while staring at a wall.

Also, very upset the Ice Form shout does damage over time. Could be very useful in some fights.

Woo! Part 22 is up and, with that, I conclude the Mage College quest line. Starting in the next part, now that I have ubermage gear, I'm going to be going sans-Conjuration. Still not directly attacking, but mostly Illusion and hopefully some Alteration if I get the right spells. I will still use a follower (need someone attacking, right?), but I think this should bring a new spark into the series. The "conjure-hide-conjure-hide-run-run-conjure-hide-etc" cycle was getting repetitive.

Thanks to everyone who has watched so far! I'm having a blast with it.

Also, does anyone else agree that the Morokai mask is ugly as sin?

Part 23: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=63CCx9Z7Jhc

After another short break, I got back to playing. From this video on, I'm only going to use Illusion, Alteration and Restoration. I'm going to keep a follower since I can't do any damage myself and even if Fury works against everyone in a room, there will still be one guy left. As you will see in the video, there is one other tactic that I may imploy from time to time...

Thanks to everyone who has watched all the parts through now! Hope it's been helpful!
