npcs you always murder

Mjoll. her line "visitors like us are rare in this part of skyrim" is soooo stupid. Oh yeah your right mjoll, we sure are rare, considering just about every race lives in Riften, and the Rift. I hate her.

Sven, I really dislike his mother, so I leave his corpse hanging over her rail as a lesson to her for being so dame rude.

I always murder Anise.

Why? As a starting character, her little basemant lab is a lifesaver and a great starting home for a new character.

I guess I must be pretty tolerant, but then, as a primary school PE teacher, I pretty much have to be. I don't kill anyone just because they are rude, annoying or a bit of a jerk. If their death is part of a quest, then yes, I'll think about it, and if they are attacking me then they are dead, no mercy. The only people I kill out of choice is Grelod, because the children are much better off without the spiteful old hag, and Thalmor (although I'll always provoke them into attacking by telling them I can worship who I want. That way I avoid a bounty).

I've been trying to figure out who those 20 people are that counted as murders.

* Okay I'm pretty sure Grelod did.
* I'm pretty sure the Khajiit in the Abandoned Shack did.
* I'm pretty sure the DB contracts did except for those who attacked you first, like maybe Deekus, and the Emperor's double whom you essentially had someone else do the dirty work.

the collateral damage such as taking out the Pentius Oculatus guards even though they were asleep did not. I got "seen" and attacked a couple times before doing the contract so those didnt count. Okay so that adds up to 20.

Attacking Thalmor Justiciars unprovoked does not count in the murder tally. They are apparently considered enemy combatants. Yet it is considered a crime in Legion controlled territory if seen -- thank you M'aiq -- he saw me butcher one of three but only reported it as an assault, unless it has to do with being Thane. How did I find out? I'd just been in Whiterun. Then went to Morthal, then took care of a giant for the jarless. Then apparently crossed a border, to butcher the Thalmor, ran into M'aiq, fast traveled back to Morthal. Then I fast traveled to Rorikstaad and a named dragon attacked the town. The dragon was kicking their butts and I should have let it continue. Why? I used Dragonrend on it and killed it, and what thanks to I get? "Stop right there sister! In the name of the Jarl you're under arrest." Fine 40 gold. If they weren't Thalmor butt lickers there wouldn't be a problem would there?

Same goes for Imperial Legion who are traveling the roads or transporting prisoners if you're a member of the Stormcloak faction and vice versa.

Another interesting side note.... Thalmor don't count in the "people" tally. They count in the "creature" tally.

And no, I don't kill people in towns or on the road because the say something that pi**es me off. I've run into traveling Orcs, Redguards, etc., and just didn't feel like a fight at the moment and took the "I should go" dialog option rather than fight to the death. It may look cowardly to some, but I spared their lives and they can go boast about it to their drinking buddies how they bullied some woman dressed in fancy armor riding a horse with red eyes on the road. I did get to watch one get killed by a cave bear though as he strutted off. I thought that was funny especially after I soul trapped him, and the bear.

Heimskr!

And only Heimskr!

Reason: He annoys the crap out of me .... night and day SHOUTING at the top of his voice about Talos .... non-stop, every time I need to go to Jorrvaskr or Dragonsreach I have to listen to his rantings.

So I usually crouch, wait til I'm hidden and give him a well-deserved arrow to the back of the head. It's amazing how no one seems to miss him. I'm saving Skyrim a fortune in aspirin money!

Grelod the Kind

Without a way to send this character to jail for torturing homeless kids, killing her is the next best thing.

Only Grelod the Kind.... and that's only so I can wipe the DB. I don't murder anyone else. Well, banditti and such, but that's not murder that's pest extermination.

I murdered Grelod, Tullius, and the Imperial Legion. DB and TG are the best guilds ever.

That damn evangelistic Talos priest in Whiterun. Every time I start a new character, as soon as they make their first 1000 gold, I go kill him. I've gotten kill animations 2 out of 3 times just walking up to him and powerhitting him once. Sheathe my weapon, pay the fine, I'm golden.

Normally, only DB contracts, however, I do have a few exceptions

Stormcloak soliders
Thalmor Justicars (Only when I get they ask me about religion, as I all the options lead to same result. Dead Thalmor :< )
That Priest in whiterun, the Talos one

EDIT: The priest is Hemisker, and any farmers off to join the Stormcloaks get killed as well

So much Heimskr hate. Dude has a lot of good things to say, even if he screeches them.

Actually murder and not just kill in self-defense? SIbbi Black-Briar. If they ever fix the Cidna Mine quest (so that I can enter the Shrine of Talos without getting arrested after finishing the quest), I'd do it to Thonar. And all the while I troll Mephala by NOT using the Ebony Blade to do it. Thalmor Justiciars may also count, although I always tell them I worship Talos to ensure there aren't any problems with the law.

Edit: And Grelod the Kind and later Astrid.
