Enchantments can't be placed on all items?

This place is getting absolutly ridiculous. First people complain about how the game is too easy and unbalanced and Bethesda should balance things. Now people are complaining about the one aspect of the game Bethesda put in to keep things somewhat balanced......and I mean somewhat. Enchanting makes things very overpowered to begin with.

It seems like no matter what people will complain.

The answer is for beth to give us free reign within the game's mechanics and have people govern their own choices. People who complain about overpowered shouldn't overpower themselves and crunch skills/lvls as fast as they can to get the best stuff asap...those people make their own misery and need to stop whining about how they ruined their own game because beth didn't set parental controls.

PC gamers have console commands and will get the creation kit to do as they please, us console users are stuck with the restricted gameplay because of the whiners and I think that's wrong. We console users should be able to become gods if we choose but no one is obligated to make any such choices if they don't like to play that way

I wasn't commenting on the freedom of choice but rather the hypocricy of people.

I fail to see why you would need to enchant both items with the same thing.

So you want to enchant your gloves say 30% and your boots 30% .....instead of using alchemy to boost your enchantment skill by %30 and making your gloves 60% ???

I think the way the system works tries to get you to use a wide range of skills instead of just sticking to 1 it tries to get you to use a broader range of skills and I like that still....would be nice to have an ether or option instead of just telling you that you can only enchant the gloves.

You mean using Alchemy to boost your enchant by 30% and making your gloves 39%.

Why do people want Bethesda to trivialize their own games?

At the end of the day this is a game that is meant to be somewhat challenging, not a single player secondlife, even though some people play that way.

Well, to be fair, people can't be hypocritical, only a person can be hypocritical. They're not the same people.

...?
a group can be just as hypocritical as a singular person.

It's not challenging - not anywhere near it.

Please quit trying to ruin the game for those of us who like playing uber-powerful characters and excercise some damn self-control. Thank You.

It is for some playstyles. There are some things they messed up though obviously

You smash it with a hammer!

Really thought that is a valid point.
