I love to read through the guides but this one is very difficult for me.I can never find anything.Alot of stuff isn't in the index and the quests should be in alphabetical order somewhere.I loved the Oblivion guide. It was easy and very funny.

i found some errors shortly into the beginning of the game when leveling alchemy. i crossed out like 12 ingredients at the end of the alchemy section where it lists what ingredients have the same effect. the ingredients were listed as having "damage magicka" but actually either had "lingering damage magicka" or "damage magicka regen". that was pretty annoying. there's also some things not matching up between the guide and the game for skill level requirements for the master spell quests.

I ran into the same w/a few alchemy ingredients.

The skyrim wiki(s) seem to make a guide obsolete.

The skyrim wiki(s) seem to make a guide obsolete.

For english speakers, and those with internet access. While wiki's are a great tool, the game is sold in many countries and to many different customers that the wiki's can not help. A printed guide in the local language will.

The guide is loaded with information, yes, it also is a lot of jumbled up information you have to always consult the atlas and index so you know where to find what you are xearching.

I like the guides as a quick reference and there is nothing wrong with preferring a book to the internet.

about the dungeons

lets say your level 20, the enemies in the dungeon automatically adjust to level 20, and if you enter later on at level 30, the enemies will still be level 20, thats how it works.

My strategy? Enter every single dungeon in the game while your still level 1 and exit, then when you get a quest to go there, easily done. (Don't actually do this xD)

I agree that the Strategy guide is difficult to read at first but it has alot of usesfull information and it's maps section are a lot more helpful than the majority of virtual skyrim maps I have found online. The only thing better is the map located on www.primagames.com/skyrimmaps if you need a quick all around skyrim pointer to find better mines than what the book lists. Page 2 and 3 list where everything so far can be found with a page number corrispondance to include the maps. Dungeon wise, unless that dungeon or area of exploration is needed for a main or side quest, the discription of it will be foudn under the map section of it's respective hold.
