What's the best Daedric quest to do?

Ill Met by Moonlight (or whatever the Hircine quest is). Truly it was one of the coolest parts of the game for me, especially if you're already a Werewolf.

I just did the Sheogorath quest. Loved it!!! And I got the Wabbajack!! HA
Anyways...
Oh I did start the Clavius Vile one a little while back. I had no idea what the heck was going on. I might finish it if its worth it.
Azura's star sounds fun. Isn't she the one were you have to get her becon first and then go clear out her temple or is that something else?...

Wabbajack is the strongest weapon in the entire game. Killed a dragon priest in one hit. Thats 1500 damage, in one attack.

Oh my gosh!!! I'm so powerful now!!! ha ha ha!!! WATCH OUT IMPERIALS!!!

Sorry for the late reply, but that's Meridia. Azura's quests starts at her shrine (south of Winterhold).

There are 16, so one for every major daedric prince.

But what about poor Jyggalag?

I don't know if you're being literal, but it doesn't actually cause damage in that sense. It has unpredictable effects, one of which can be insta-death. Sorry if I sound pedantic, I just want people to know how it works.

My favorite daedric quest overall was probably Pyrite's though. The hardest part of the quest is initiating it, but once you've got that taken care of its a Dwemer dungeon crawl with unique enemies. I have absolutely no moral dilemma with exterminating a cult that's trying to drown me in green vomit.
I did that one (I won't do Boethiah's Calling because it's too evil ) and I think Peryite's is kinda' evil because if I understand the events: the main priest guy had second thoughts about spreading the plague so he lied to the infected, took them to the Dwemer ruins, and is pretending to commune with Peryite until all the cult members die so the plague can't be spread. By killing them and the priest we're setting the stage for Peryite to start over with a priest who won't betray him.

Since you don't mind spoilers: you should definitely finish Clavicus Vile's quest and not kill Barbas. The reward is very impressive and useful.

The beacon one is Meridia.

Its definitely one of my favorites. I used it on a low level Dragaur once and ended up turning the dude into a friggin' Daedra Lord who promptly killed me. You never know what you are going to get with that thing.

That's why I don't do that quest anymore. I did it the first time around to get the famed Wabbajack but the thing is next to useless because you never know what it's going to do. Turning a wolf into a chicken was great, but having it go off like a nuclear explosion in a fight against the Falmer where me and my follower ended up dead because of it wasn't cool at all.

What's this? Were you left without cheese? :(

Ayup, might be my favorite Daedric Quest as well.

And yes, all the major princes but Jyggalag have their own quests. Jyggalag's current state is actually debated at the moment. He might be waging some kind of war against the other princes who turned him into Sheogorath in the first place.

Pieces of the Past. It's the one where you get the pieces of Mehrunes Dagon's Razor and he puts it back for you. Pick to kill Silus, get some cool but stupid looking robes(Mythic Dawn), and every week three Dremora respawn at the shrine and the really cool loot respawns inside the shrine.

You can get the resawning Dremora and loot WITHOUT killing SIilus, too.

I just completed Malacath's quest with a Level 15 Orc warrior - for him, that was definitely the best of the Daedric quests. Got a full set of Orcish Armor and Volendrung out of it, but he had to earn it. Beating down four giants at that level, plus the Orc chief, with nothing but melee weapons made for a tough fight.
