That happened to me the other day. I was at the top of a staircase and a draugr deathlord shouted at me and I got an animation sending me tumbling down the staircase. I was shocked that I had "died" because I was at full health and wearing good armor... then I was able to get up. I said "oh. weird." then went back upstairs and killed his undead behind.

I lost the fight. I want to see if I can get it to happen again so I can get a screenshot of it.

I used bound bow on that guy the 2nd time through coz I'm a wimp. Actually that whole dungeon was tough for me back then. Interesting but tough, lots of surprise attacks if I remember.

You want to talk annoying fights? Having to brawl on master with PISE. You do no damage, they keep healing themselves, and you have to chug potions so you don't get beaten to death by someone's bare hands.

In fairness they'd all been sealed away until we went exploring!

I did the Gauldur quest with my first character. Grinded my way through the boss fights... then was like, "Yes! I'm about to combine them and finish this rubbish!" Then I found out I was going to have to fight all three bosses again in spirit form. This turned into "WTF" pretty quick. I bailed and never went back... then I lost that character. My replacement character is now level 52, almost 53... has a lot better skills and much better equipment, so I will have much less anxiety when facing down those boys. In fact, I plan to crush them without mercy.

And the rest of the undead are looking around the corner with a , "Cool weapon Dude" look on their skulls.
