Did you stick with a stone for the game?

I usually use one of the 3 Guardian stones and that's it.

I never choose the Warrior, Thief or Mage stones because I don't like to level quickly. I get the Ritual Stone at first because it's close by and it can come in handy when you go to Bleak Falls Barrow. After that, when I make my way to the Solitude area, I look for the Steed stone because I'm a loot lovin' pack rat. None of the others has appealed to me yet. I need to try a build for a character who likes to travel light and own nothing at all....live off the land whatever happens. :tes:

If you are on a PC. There is a "tough merchants" mod- wherein you could set their sell prices to 500 percent and your sell prices to 10%.

I did that in order to "live off quest rewards and the land" believe you me, you don't bother picking things up and being a packrat when a 700 gold item sells for 50 gold. Gems get picked up, and loose gold is king, everything else is junk.

usually I pick Warrior or Mage depending on character when I first get to the Guardian Stones and later switch to 1 of Lord, Lady, Steed or Atronach depending on the character later.

My first playthrough I did not locate the mage stone until I was more than half done. I decided against using the Wiki and did not have the preorder.

Warrior for the most part on my Warrior type and on my Assassin type. I'll switch to Mage's or Shadow temporarily if I'm going to grind Enchanting or Alchemy respectively. Later in the game I switch to Tower. So to answer your question: "No.".
