Found out about sprint - Fail of the day

Most of these misses wouldn't happen if Skyrim had a semi-decent tutorial (which is my biggest issue with this game).

Remote follower commands were like this for me.

Yes, you can remotely command your follower from 100 feet away by mousing over them and holding down your activate key.

Got to level 63 before I realized that the claws had the puzzle door combination on them. Well over 100 hours of gameplay, I was still essentially hacking the puzzle doors. Bird bird fish, no, bird bird snake, no, bird bird bird, no, bird snake bird, yay. Was annoying. Now I understand that "close at hand" hint from one of the first puzzle doors I encountered.

Holy cow, you can zoom in on inventory? I dunno how many hours I have but I'm lvl 39 and I'm tired of stepping up to the TV to see the dragon claws! LOL! Yay! I learned a new trick!

Not only can you zoom in, you can also rotate them, so you can read them better.......

Hi all,

Ok, so one of the things I've learned to do very early when I start playing any PC game, is that almost universally, they have an option screen with controls, where you can *change* the controls, but hey, you can also see what the controls currently are. You can learn about all sorts of nifty abilities you might not have guessed you have by looking at that controls screen. No need to switch out to a manual - *it's right in the game*.

If I don't understand what one of the controls are, I just try it out. Imagine that.

LOL at some of these.

I did not know about the zoom feature on the inventory 3D images but it has not been a problem.

Reminds me of a thread last weak complaining about a lack of wait feature. I always look through the manual for controls before I play a game.

It sounds like a lot of these things are only easy to miss on the PC version. All of these mechanics are impossible to miss on the Xbox 360.

Does nobody read anymore?

This is the TL;DR generation. If it has more words than a tweet, then assume nobody read it.

Maybe the game should come with horrible key bindings. Then at least you'd be forced to remap your keys and maybe have a discovery or three.

It's not like we're here trying to study for an important exam. It's a video game. Why read when we can experience first hand for ourselves? Thereby learning and growing as our character does. It's not like our characters sat down and read an instruction manual on how to be a bad ass before setting out on our adventures.

Is it bad if my mage did?

DAMN YE, BOOK SMARTS!
