I have a confession to make

Your daughter played tabletop games?....Pics or it didn't happen XD

Oh, I had pics.... she and her friends in full "we beat it!!" glory. However, those pics were the seriously old-fashioned kind (you know, the ones that were taken with a real camera....) and they're long gone now due to moves, water damage, etc.

Her friends came home with her several days a week. First they did homework (heh - mom cracking the whip) and THEN we played games in the Forgotten Realms. They were all nerds.... this was back in the days when "girl nerds" existed but weren't believed in - daughter had issues with her computer prof, and eventually I got her moved into an art class - the man was a cretin, some of the things he said to me you wouldn't believe. It was a long time ago.... The kids all had a great time with the stuff I wrote for them though!

She sounds like she'd be great in bed, then you realize she is an expert torturer for the Thalmor. :ermm:
Get ready for some heavy S&M play guys!

Must be a guy thing?

No. Elenwen is just, ugh.

They've taken some steps foward, like reducing the puffiness of faces from Oblivion. But some steps back, like too many creases, and no age slider. And the dirt slider? I know Skyrim is sparse and harsh, but does nobody take baths?

Nitron, I guess you're not on pc, huh? Nice thing about playing on pc is that you get mods like Bella's Faces, apachii's hair.... better bodies.... But yes, I too do NOT get the necessity to display everyone's clothing as if it's 50 years old and NEVER been cleaned. Even the upper class folks....

Truthfully, there's a limit to how much realism I want in games. Did my pioneer ancestors (the ones who arrived with the Mass Bay Colony for instance) have to wear clothing that was dirty? Yes. Did they likely stink? Yes. That's how life WAS in the centuries before we discovered being clean and using deodorant. Do I want that in a game?

No. Thank you.

I am on PC, but its kind of middle tier, so I dont know how many graphical enhancing mods it could handle. The high def texture pack definitely wouldnt work. I've never been one to do a lot of mods on games. Might throw in a few "Ease of Use" mods or some smaller things. I've considered some of the bigger ones, that add extra quests, or new recruitable characters, but never went through with any of them. Though I did try making an NPC mod for BG2 once. I got kind of lazy, and then my computer died, so whatever.

Actually, the face/hair/body upgrade mods aren't large downloads, and they don't push the machine much. Stuff like the graphics mods do - I don't do those even though my machine wouldn't care - I don't have the download bw to spare and they ARE huge (satband, VERY tight limit on download bw). I have a couple of player-house mods which are much nicer than the in-game houses, and the face/hair/body mods. Oh, and one that pops a warning when you discover a place on the map, if there's a quest associated. LOVE that one....

I think it's something about that weird black blush she uses on her cheeks that does it for me. She's definitely the only Thalmor I don't want to kill at the very least. She just throws fun parties, and doesn't seem to be particularly overbearing like the rest of the Thalmor I encounter.

I love the snobbish accent of the High Elf voice actor (especially Nirya at the College of Winterhold). It's almost... sixy. :B

If four women are not enough to satisfy a man's sixual appetite then one needs to look for bigger game.

I don't think it's a guy thing. I didn't find her attractive, and I am a guy, maybe it's more of a fetish thing.

A "guy thing" doesn't mean EVERY guy likes it xD
