Daggerfall is also available free from Bethesda's own website.

It's an awesome game, if you can look past the graphics at the depth and detail put into it. And it's free. Did I mention that it's free? Not often that such an awesome game is legally free, so there's very little reason not to play it.
Expect a rather different experience from Oblivion and Skyrim. It's closer to Morrowind in systems, but you'll likely discover that the systems in Daggerfall go farther than they do in Morrowind even. Vampirism, Lycanthropy, Spellmaking, Enchanting...much more detailed, and in my opinion, cooler. Can't play an Orc though, as Daggerfall is set before Orcs were accepted into the Empire.
You can also learn a bit about the history of the Orcs. Just don't make the mistake of making a Linguist character. It's possible to make, but I don't think it's possible to succeed at much of anything as a linguist.
