Balgruuf is the one who disappointed me. I expected him to be smart enough to side with the Stormcloaks, but in the end he turned out to be just another Nord with no backbone who just gives the Thalmor what they want.

Exactly. I don't feel 1 ounce of a jerk for siding with the stormcloaks. Baalgruuf may of been a real nice guy for a while, but as far as political wise hes terrible at it. He made the terrible decision to side with the imperials therefor he is responsible for the attack that happen. I'm not going to get all teary just because he gave me thane status. I actually deserve it for helping him and his housecarl defeat a dragon. I also fetch the dragonstone for his wizard so he can discuss it with Delphine so with all honesty I deserved to be called thane of whiterun.

In skyrim theirs no room for the weak.

Compassion is one thing but not having a backbone is another. Since Balgruuf was a Jarl I'm pretty certain that he knew who the imperials were, and how the thalmor has them by an inch of their hairs.

Oh and I wonder if Balgruuf cares if the thalmor is going around outside of his city harassing talos worshipers by purposely attacking and killing them? I admit to worshipping talos to a group of thalmor and they tried killing me. No whiterun guards came to my rescue. I untied the "thalmor prisoner" and he suggested that I go to windhelm to speak with Ulfric about joining the stormcloaks.

I've actually seen Stormcloaks fighting Justiciers before.

I own that movie and love it. :lol:

Peter Dinklage is awesome. Because of him I'm considering watching Game of Thrones.

And, I so wish we had more dialogue options to taunt the Thalmor. :mellow:

You shouldn't have to think about watching Game of Thrones! It's one of the few shows worth watching at all.

LOL the movie rocked, and I admit that I'm not an overly big fan of Will Ferrell either, but in this movie he did a great job. surprisingly enough I never heard of Game of Thrones except for screenshots.http://www.forkparty.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/game-of-thrones-title.jpg. I guess it's the clothing. I will give this show a chance.

I avoided it because I was afraid 'they' would intertwine too much six into it, but one friend of mine said it's actually good so I'll probably catch up on HBO GO and start watching it.
