This!
At least in my case :D. I used couple of items found there for that reason :), however, never used them as an advantage, I prefer natural way of obtaning items.

It should be usable by everyone why the fudge does PC get everything..
As someone said after main quest or some other hidden big quest. The reward could be called the "Master Key" and it could unlock the "Hall" to all the stuff. There is something that could be done to avoid the "where to find" youtube vids; it could be made so that it isnt the same for every game.. so basicly it moves around and if you get lucky you find it; but also it cant be in a common ace which is easy to find. It could be deep underwater with loads of slaughterfish or some small thing floating high up in the mountians and if you shoot it it opens up a secret doorway out of the ground right under the floating thing which could be the hall. This door can only be open for an hour in game time and moves on if not entered.

Or it could be that the key could be small fragments that you randomly get at a very low drop rate from random kills. So when you put all the pieces togeather you go find the door for the key but there could be "where to find" youtube vids on the place because you gotta find all the pieces for the key.

Just spitballin. The Hall should be in every platform. PC dosent deserve super special things because PC ppl can already mod the game to their benefit where xbox and ps3 ppl get left in the [censored]ter unless they risk their system to have a little fun.

Tell it to Microsoft and Sony- they're the ones who absolutely forbid allowing the command console or mods of any kind. It's not "PC players getting something special"-that room exists in all three platforms- it's your proprietary hardware manufacturers actively keeping you from getting in.

As far as giving out a key, or adding randomization- why? It's not someplace that any players on any platform are supposed to be. It's not a reward. It's an area for the testing of items; the QA in 'qasmoke' stands for Quality Assurance.

Even if you were to get in that room (I haven't watched the video that tells you how to bring up the console on the 360 that was linked in the first vid), how do you get out again? I assume that the easy answer is to save before you go in, and then reload when you are ready to leave, but if you could leave with some items, wouldn't that break the game? Having items that you had not cleared the (possible) quest requirements for?

They key is there to stop the urge of people to just get to the room at level one, grab all armor, and just play the whole game with stuff you have to work for to get. Sure it dosent effect anyone but the people who would actully do that but it will kill the whole point of the game.

As for the modding Beth could realease a kit to mod the game to peoples need just like PC can mod it to there needs already. So basicly a creation kit.

The room should be open to all people and by that i mean people on xbox and ps3 dont have to take risks to mess up their stuff in order to get to where PC gets it from the second they put the game up.

You didn't even read my post, did you? IT IS A TESTING ROOM. IT IS NOT A SPECIAL REWARD. NOBODY IS SUPPOSED TO HAVE ACCESS, AND PC PLAYERS CAN ONLY GET THERE BY CHEATING. There is NO reason to allow special access to a room that no one is supposed to be in. NONE.

The only thing stopping you from getting there on the consoles is MS and SONY not allowing command consoles. The same way THEY choose not to allow mods. Bethesda cannot release a creation kit for the consoles because MS ANS SONY WILL NOT ALLOW IT. How many times does this need to be said before it sinks in?

or coc Rift

etc. :)

I read your post. Testing room yes but if people can get out with all the stuff then it aint testing its basicly a bank account ypu randomly got for frse that has all the money you even wanted.

Beth can release a creation kit for consoles because it would be different than opening up your consol to mod where you get a modding kit that only alters skyrims features and none other games. Basicly an add on. MS and sony wont have to worry about it being used for other games if it only is made to work for skyrim. Is that too much for you to understand?

Whatever. Since you obviously can't understand what "MS and Sony won't allow it" means, this conversations isn't worth my time.

It seems to me like Bethesda would have already considered this since they sell more copies of the game on xbox 360 and ps3 than they do on PC. Most likely MS and Sony won't allow it because the creation kit would open up the ability to add things that could alter the games ESRB rating such as nvde mods and because player created content could compete with DLC. Also there would probably be issues with achievements as well.

Thanks for sharing that. I love seeing and learning about how the games are made and tested and it was interesting to look through some of the items. I did crash on the Enchanted Weapons container but I was able to look at the books and ammo. It's not where I'd get my items in-game but fun to look at anyway. :tes:

Why, did they forget to send the game to you?

This room is not accessible to the PC unless a cheat is used. It is not part of the game as played without the cheat.

Besides, it's not like we need this room on the PC.

it should be accesible by ridng a dragon into the clouds and jumping off at the right point to hit the invisible door before you fall to your death. that way only the worthy may enter the legendary testing room :teehee:

Thats the only way to get there if you are on the consoles lol :)

This is a stupid argument. I went in there once, and opening one of the cabinets froze my game for almost 15 seconds. PC players aren't getting any "special access." If I need something in-game, it's 100X easier to just use the additem command.

"Free bank account?" LOL, like money is SOOOOO hard to come by in this game. I swear, people will always find something to [censored] about.

It's a special test room for the Quality Assurance testers. Lets them get to, and try out new implementations to the game quickly.

I agree. It's pretty much pointless. I dont know whats the big deal about going to the testing place anyways. What is their to RP anyways? I still haven't went to the place, and never will either.

thats the fun part! you have to ride with the bear calvelry into the depths of the soul carin (a realm totally ruled by undead and the "perfect masters" and is located in a realm of oblivion) while wearing armour made out of cheese to rescue sheogorath, who will then send you to a small island in his realm where you will have to slay the mighty cheese atronatch to get the key to malacath's realm where you will have to free all the slaves and take back teh desicrated white gold tower to teleport back to nirn. after the teleporaion you will find youself naked in the white gold tower with imperial guards trying to kill you (you are trespassing on imperial property...naked) so you have to fight your way to the ground floor where you gear is all laying on the ground (along with the corpse of the cheese atronach you killed earlier) then you flee back to skyrim where the cheese atronach is waiting to be your new follower

something straight out of the mad god's mind right there

You were never bored in school were you? :P
