Started thinking about that... In order to compare flags, those saves would have to be in the same place at the same time on a given storage device(s). How to keep them seperate?
Easy.
Two memory cards and your XBOX HDD. Note: You are going to have to run with just two saved games to make this work and blow your other saves out of the water.
1. Move a good save to a memory card (just one!), using the xbox system settings tab. Delete all of your other saves if they are doing the "dlc not found" deal.
2. Copy that save to the HDD. Confirm you have only one save game copy on the HDD.
3. Remove the memory card.
4. Play game
5. When you want to save, plug in the other memory card, and save to it.
6. When you want to use that saved game, go to system settings and delete the original save on the HDD and the first memory card.
7. Plug in the 2nd memory card, move the file in system settings, and continue playing.
8. Next save, save it to the first memory card
9. Rinse and repeat
This way, the game save files are never together in the same place at the same time. Follow me? The game will ever only see one saved game at any given time.
I have tested through 3 save/load cycles and no trouble so far.
Anyone care to give it a try and confirm?
(I know like it sounds like a lot of shuffling, and it it, but it seems to work...)
At least until they can get things ironed out.
