Daedric armor vs Dragon armor?

Post » Tue Jun 05, 2012 5:22 pm

I know, right? I guess any higher than that and the protection makes combat pointless.
True, only dragons and other mages hurt me (I am also starting conjurer tree. Whats a nord who always has a weapon at hand even when unarmed? Dragon Laxative!)

You could go with Wolf Armor, a variant of steel, with just the first perk and max your defense. It's more about aesthetics. It I play a Paladin type character, I'll use steel plate or ebony. Barbarian? I'd probably go Wolf or Hide.

As for magic, well....I'm a Breton fan. Racial + Lord stone + Temple of Mara quest + 2/3 Magic Resistance in Alteration or some MR gear = laughing at dragons and mages.

Wolf armor is awesome but if you look at the texture closely, it looks [censored] especially the boots! It looks like it was made with crayons. The torso is awesome as well as the gauntlets but the boots are half ass...

Yes. If you like making armor out of dead, sentient demons, then do that. If you prefer to make it out of resurrected rekilled sentient dragons, then do that instead.

If you prefer to not wear armor made out of something that you could have a conversation with, you'll have to use a lesser armor.

In fairness, the conversation with a dragon would end badly, considering what their language is all about...

Seriously, i have had over 150 dragon bones XD. I have 8 extra dragon souls at all times and when ever i unlock a word another dragon is around the corner to give me more bones coins and souls. I have started throwing bones away because I have a weight of 450 at all times because of all my gear. I could start a dragon ranch if i could catch all of em.
I have about 60-70 dragon bones but that is from over the course of a hundred of hours of gameplay. Do you store the bones, you should try to carry less weight.

There is nothing wrong with any of that. Its about choices I do wish there was more choices: but I have my character wear what they would in this game.

You would be knocked in a wall burnt then frozen in an ice block and electrocuted all in one sentence.

Turns out Alduin was just saying 'Hi' when he shouted in the intro...

Seems like conversations can work fine in the dragon tongue, going by some stuff I've seen in the game. At worst you might have to be careful about what you say or ask them to speak another language. Doesn't really change my point.

I guess I am just saying it is a bit weird that the best armors are soilent armors. Bit creepy too. It was a bit different before, since Daedric being the best didn't mean the armor was literally made out of daedra anymore than dwarven armor is made out of dwarves.

It does make sense, it is infused with their magical energies.

I find I like to wear what would suit my characters personality. You should do that.

Me too: if that is the case keep it all. I would not tell you how to roleplay.

Deadric is definitely cooler. You can also craft very good weapons as well. On my fourth character and I am all Deadric this time through.

I often wear Dragon bone Armor Boots Nightngale gloves and Nightngale hood, for my fem dunmer companion I give her the same cept I trade in the hood for a forsworn headress, that so should have been a female hairstyle.
