This game should have a hardcoe mode.

In a game with so much food and clean water, it would not do much more than act like Ad popups every now and then to annoy the player.

If you want a game where you need to drink and eat and sleep, play a vampire. Seriously. Playing a vampire is way more hardcoe than fallout NV's hunger/thirst/sleep system is.

Well I think a hardcoe mode would be great. Optional set of rules that add to the experience for some and can be ignored by others. The gae sold truckloads they ahve the cash to spend time adding more optional features.

Following most poeple's logic there should only be the ability to play generic nord warriors because that is what the majority of players play as.

Playing as a vanpire is not the answer. Vampires svck (herp) and not everyone wants to play as one just to have some added resource managment in game.

Someone above mentioned potions and I 100% agree, a mode of play that made potions require and animation time to drink so you couldn't svck em down while paused and make them work over time would be awesome.

A bump to the cooking system and a requirement for using it in an optional mode of play would be very welcome.

More options, more ways to tailor the rules for different tastes and someway to increase the need to manage resources would make the game more fun for some people.

As idiotic as these threads and the people who make them are I find nothing more /facepalm worthy than this

- No fast travel(inclusion of some kind of transportation spell though)

Is this a troll thread? I mean does nobody get the irony of somebody complaining about fast travel yet asking for a teleportation spell or mark/recall to be brought back?

I would much rather have the travel system from Morrowind back. Loads more fun.

That measn that yes I thnk having mark/recall, carriages and certain magical devices that could transport you would be superior to what we have now.

On the topic of travel, why can't we actually ride the carriage to a destination? Like get in, and the dude carts you to your destination but you actually get to chill in the cart on the way there? Completely skippable of course.

I already replied to a post similar to this one so I will say the same thing here that I did there.

- Yes with my mod you will have the requirement to eat, sleep and drink and also lots more including temperature.

- Fast travel will be completely disabled because even though TES is supposed to be a realistic fantasy game they keep adding this "cheat" system into the game which I know many think is there just so they dont have to travel everywhere all the time (I agree there) but I still think its just a way of bypassing the challenges in the game. All Bethesda really have to do (which I will do with my mod) is add a spell into the game which allows you to teleport to preset locations (the spell would have a very long cooldown).

- I will definately be trying to add a armor and weapons degrading system into the game but it will mean lots of effort (which takes time) and changing almost every armor and weapon item in the game.

If you want a game where you need to drink and eat and sleep, play a vampire. Seriously. Playing a vampire is way more hardcoe than fallout NV's hunger/thirst/sleep system is.

The amount of food found in the game (barrels and stores etc) can be reduced and as for drinking water their is no such item except for rivers etc but since you cant put a river in your pocket its still no reason not to have a HC mode.

The vampires in TES - excuse my french - are crap, Bethesda completely got them reversed. They should have went with the more traditional way of including vampires, you drink to stay alive and strong with all those vampire abilities (no sparkling skin thank you very much). If you dont drink blood or take too long to do so the vampire disease takes hold and you begin to get weaker and eventually you turn into a gargoyle beast like thing (which other NPC's notice so you become an outcast until you feed and reverse the effect), its already more than possible to add this all in with a mod because its already in the game (werewolf form). As for the whole daylight thing the fact is that if you could only play the game while the night cycle is in effect it would get more annoying and frustrating than fun after a while so it would be better to make it so that if you do travel around in the day as a vampire not only do you lose your vampire abilities but you actually become a little weaker than most other "human" NPC's in the game, also if you were in that "gargoyle monster" state I mentioned above and you wondered into the daylight than you would indeed set on fire taking damage.

They should also put in a feature that on a very small % chance your weapon just breaks or your spell goes off in your face for heavy damage and no matter which of the following happen this appears above your character's head " :swear: "
