Normally I'd swim near them and get them to chase me to shore. This bunch refused to do that. And since I'm playing an unarmored mage who has no interest in being nibbled to death while she looks for loot under the overturned boat, I had to get rid of them. Since I can't actually cast spells underwater, I had to look for one that I could cast on land and have it remain active while I went swimming. I found that Lightning Cloak does this. I cast it, swam out, and watched the fish fry themselves as they got too close.

I know I'm not the first one to think of this, but I've never seen it posted, so I thought I'd share for anyone who was getting tired of getting gnawed on when you can't fight back. No idea if the other cloaks work- I don't have them yet, but as soon as I do I'll try them out.
