Make quest markers easier to see

Yes, because Morrowind never held your hand at all, by feeding you tiny bite size chunks of a quest. If you don't use it at all, you have no dog in this fight, so you really just came into the thread to have a little snipe. Thanks for helping turn the forum into snot. Really appreciated. You and everyone else with your stinkingly bad attitudes. I never get sick of seeing trolls trying to take the threads OT with their whinging that Skyrim is [censored] because it's not made according to THEIR exact specifications.

OP, on the Xbox you can select the quest, then use the "X" button to take you to the destination on the map, but yes, I agree with you, I would have liked it to be a different colour.

I might be taking the topic OT even more by agreeing with you but it has to be said. Maybe by next month these people will realize that that game is not their life and the can actually...wait....what's that? MOVE ON to another game.

I kind of wish quest marker weren't there (only in buildings), it makes it unrealistic and easy. You sneak into a house, in search of evidence, you look for a bit, turn round and see the quest marker pointing to it behind a wall. -.-

And I thought the floating quests markers were bad enough. What's next, big yellow dots marking the way to the quest location?

Clairvoyance? :P

Most of the time I use the quest marker to get me to the entrance, and then I turn that quest off in my controls. Best of both worlds. :)

You can p;ace a custom marker on the map, if you're finding it difficult. Those are light blue. Any other colour would be a bit of a clunker in terms of matching the game's colour scheme.

i was just going to suggest this. the only problem i have with markers, is when they are off screen on the map. it's hard for me to see which direction i should pan the map. of course the snap to location pretty much nullifies my complaint...so...whatever.

I actually enjoy using the quest markers, but this made me laugh. "I can't find my way to the quest. I can't see anything." "Just follow the marker." "Umm..."

But to the OP, I'm sorry you have a hard time seeing the markers. I think you had said you're on a console, but you might be able to turn the clouds off, if it would help you at all. Sometimes they are a pain to see, but perhaps Bethesda, or someone who creates mods, will implement this color idea to help those who do use the markers. I only track one quest at a time, but the different colors are a good idea.

Generally, for me looking to the map for a longer time and planning my trips is an important part of playing.

That said, I don't like the map (strange that they had satellites over Skyrim), I would prefer a normal 2d map with at least some roads painted in. The clouds over the map are really annoying, the mod that removes them is one of my favourite. For people without modding possibilities Beth should really do something with the map, coloured markers could be one (albeit unsatisfying) way to go.

After all the complaining on how it was to easy to see in OB I doubt they will change it. If anything the next game will likely have quest-markers that are less visible.
