Transsixuals in Skyrim

Post » Wed Jun 06, 2012 6:15 pm

Correction: Rule 63

She/he dosen't want gender-swapping, but talks about male-ish female or female-ish male. It's about having the best of both worlds, I guess?

Also, the OP said there were transsixuals in other games like dragon age. I don't recall there being any transsixuals or anything even remotely similar in that game. I do remember there being some male and female courtesans who either gender could have six with. That didn't make them transsixuals though. In anycase, imagination is sufficient for this purpose in this case.
I think I remember a cross-dresser in the first DA. I've never played the second one, but I'm pretty sure there was a guy in a dress in the brothel in the first one.

If you mean transforming the male genitals into female ones, it is a matter of debate if that is possible in the ES universe. People can use magic to summon monsters from other dimensions, talk to deities, create undead, heal the worst of wounds and diseases, steal souls and use them for batteries, etc... How difficult is it to turn an innie into an outie compared to all that?

Don't know. I mean, they all seem non sequitur. That is to say, just because great feats are possible in the universe, doesn't mean relatively more minor ones are.

IRL, in the ancient world it was common for male to females to simply cut off their male genitals, often as part of a religious ceremony. They supplemented that by taking what amount to estrogen pills from plants with naturally estrogenic properties, like wild yams. Because these usually double as birth control, they are already known in their societies (the first modern birth control pills were developed from a Native American contraceptive using wild yams). Then it is just a matter of growing your hair long and wearing female attire. In ES, one can easily imagine alchemy supplying the estrogen with no problems at all. I can also picture magical hair removal as well. In fact, I bet that would be a big hit with all women at the magic day spas.

I was aware of the eununchising, but not so much the estrogen-heavy food consumption, although logic would dictate that conclusion. With that said, "one can easily imagine alchemy supplying estrogen with no problems at all," has it been proven that estrogen / testosterone / etc... exists in the ES world? Once again, gender could possibly come from something else entirely different in the universe. Meh, hypotheticals... could go either way.

EDIT: Clarification

someone used socrates as the end all.

socrates has lost many arguments.

pluck him.
I quoted Socrates as a reputable source to refute some ignoramus who thinks his logic is infallible but cannot manage proper grammar.

Are there transsixuals in this game? I remember playing Dragon Age, and there was always one at the brothel.

As a t-girl myself, I think this was a bit offensive because it seems like a fetish of some sort.

Also, can you make your character transsixual?

I hate to be the immature one but...

Is anyone surprised that I had to remove about half the posts from this thread?

Then don't be surprised if I come back and start Warning or Suspending people for Trolling and Flaming.

If you can not contribute to this thread in a mature manner, then find another thread to post in.

I'm surprised at some of the posts you're allowing to stay up, like the ones referring to transsixualism as a "fetish." That's pretty offensive for something that the American Medical Association recognizes as a legitimate medical condition.

Well, sure, it's a condition. Yet, for some, it is indeed 'just' a fetish. Pretty much, it's just bad to generalize it either way.

It is illogical to assume your logic is perfect. As Socrates said, "I am the wisest man in Greece, for I know one thing, and that is that I know nothing."
Indeed sir, indeed.

socrates was an idiot.
Wait, let me get this straight, you think your logic is superior to that of one of the most reputable classical philosophers? I must be a terrible judge of character, because I had you pinned for an idiot.

I really wouldn't worry about too much. It's not ideal but the reality is that most people aren't familiar with the exact differences between transsixuals, transvestites, and even homosixuals, let alone the reasons why someone might be one of those things. I certainly wouldn't expect a well educated community on a video game forum.

I don't think so....though sixuality isn't so much as discussed in Skyrim....so Lydia could be one for all I know.

I think lydia may be a lisbian. she walks like a man.

Just like I think Klepper is a closet gay.... but thats me.

No offence meant.

ITT: 90% of posters don't know the difference between transgender, transsixual and transvestite.

The 10% that do are the least obnoxious and most sympathetic.

Shocker.

I think I`ll make a thread called `Tweeting in Skyrim` or `Using botox in Solitude` and see how big a thread I can make from coming out with modern day crap in a pseudo medieval game.

Because wishing to be the opposite six hasn't been around since forever? Only reason it couldn't be implemented besides bigotry is methods, and this game has magic.

I was born with 4 testicles, can I play a character with 4 testicles? They need to add a magical spell that lets you have 4 testicles thx.

I dunno but if you're Transylvanian, they should add them to the game.

Kk, for one I didn't say there should be a spell letting people change six, I was responding to the mass and obvious transphobia in the thread, simply because the reaction was so OTT.

For another, that's pretty much unheard of. Transsixualism isn't.

If you create a male character, and then use the sixchange command, your body becomes female while retaining male face.

^ Shouldn't this ended the discussion? What the OP wishes for is already in game.

Well that didn`t take long.

Knew someone with modern day issues couldn`t resist jumping on that.
