Transsixuals in Skyrim

Post » Thu Jun 07, 2012 2:23 am

I think it's perfect. A subtle nod to what happened but nothing over the top that will upset parents or the ESRB.
The only problem with that is that my in game wife never sleeps. Never. I've gotten almost 160 hours on this character and she hasn't slept once that I've seen.

On topic - I could personally care less if there any transgender/transixuals in this game or not. I wouldn't be offended if Bethesda put something like that in the game, unless the character was just a bland stereotype or something. But, like I said it makes little difference to me one way or the other.

sixuality in games is not trollbaiting or worthless.

transgenger wishes are.

Your making this thread all about you aren't you? You scared him/her away (maybe... dunno) Ps i'm a straight male if you wondering... and i'll leave it at that => having warnings in my past

Is that....her/him/thy in your avatar?
She is not in my avatar. I added a link to her pic in my other post. My avatar is Artemisia, my High Elf who was also part Khajiit, due to magical experimentation.

Pertaining to your character being transixual - are we talking about one of those rare cases where it happens naturally, or surgically?

Because I'm pretty sure the folks in Nirn don't have the know-how to do such a thing (if it's even possible in the ES universe -- it could not be.)

Then again, it could be magical in origin or nature... Hmm...

But, honestly, I hope you understand that being transixual is, well, niche; unless developers are purposely rooting through the niche while in development, you're not likely to 'represented' anywhere in-game. Hopefully you can understand that they're not trying to insult because of that.
If you mean transforming the male genitals into female ones, it is a matter of debate if that is possible in the ES universe. People can use magic to summon monsters from other dimensions, talk to deities, create undead, heal the worst of wounds and diseases, steal souls and use them for batteries, etc... How difficult is it to turn an innie into an outie compared to all that? IRL, in the ancient world it was common for male to females to simply cut off their male genitals, often as part of a religious ceremony. They supplemented that by taking what amount to estrogen pills from plants with naturally estrogenic properties, like wild yams. Because these usually double as birth control, they are already known in their societies (the first modern birth control pills were developed from a Native American contraceptive using wild yams). Then it is just a matter of growing your hair long and wearing female attire. In ES, one can easily imagine alchemy supplying the estrogen with no problems at all. I can also picture magical hair removal as well. In fact, I bet that would be a big hit with all women at the magic day spas.

It's actually weird how showing their genitalia is considered wrong, while decapitating someone is completely ok.
Good point. I find it funny how blood, gore, violence, cursing, mutilation, decapitation, etc is allowed in video games but nudity and six aren't.

It is illogical to assume your logic is perfect. As Socrates said, "I am the wisest man in Greece, for I know one thing, and that is that I know nothing."

socrates was an idiot.

Possibly not.
But do I seem like the kind of poster that remains calm and poised when confronted with things that grate me?
Do note my avatar.

And do trust me. Nothing grates me more than uninformed and unempathetic insinuations made against a minority, or majority for that matter. It is just not done. One cultivates an informed opinion or one keeps their ignorance to themselves.

That is actually far more disturbing than transsixuals. Sounds like a My Immortal type fanfiction material to me.

Transsixualism is not a fetish. It is a neurological intersix condition.

OP, why would you want to play as anything other than a woman?

because six in video games is a worthless point. it negates the greatness of games. it adds needless politics. unwanted politics. i'll debate you every day. but, in this forum for this game your view is false.

Video Games: It's okay to put a bullet into somebodys head, and kill countless people online and have bloody decapitations and extreme gore. But six is a no-no!

If you create a male character, and then use the sixchange command, your body becomes female while retaining male face.

If they DID put transgendered people in the game, what exactly would they do that would be any different to what any other NPC does?
How does someone even know - much less care - whether an NPC is or not? What are the telltale signs?
In Morrowind all the NPCs seem to become gay when your charm and personality goes up.
One game I played there was a spell or a pair of boots that changed your gender - I think is was Baldurs Gate maybe? That was funny.

It'll all be modded in soon but you won't be able to download or upload any mods via a Steam Account that are not according to their strict rules.

I don't understand the logic of this thread exactly. The way everyone is talking, it appears people walk around in public naked having six all the time.

"LOL y no bewbz, but death and blood???"

Action adventure RPG people, not penthouse old school edition.

This ^

Also, the OP said there were transsixuals in other games like dragon age. I don't recall there being any transsixuals or anything even remotely similar in that game. I do remember there being some male and female courtesans who either gender could have six with. That didn't make them transsixuals though. In anycase, imagination is sufficient for this purpose in this case.

Are there transsixuals in this game? I remember playing Dragon Age, and there was always one at the brothel.

As a t-girl myself, I think this was a bit offensive because it seems like a fetish of some sort.

Also, can you make your character transsixual?
None are in as far as we know. As for making one.....You can always roleplay as one.

I must say, the OP is being treated more fairly than I have been by the community & moderators in similar circumstances. At least some people get to voice their legit input without being dismissed like a child.
