The Aftermass of Oblivion...

I mean, even Jauffre mentioned the Imperial Simulacrum and the events dealing with Jagar Tharn when talking about Mehrunes Dagon. I don't see why they wouldn't talk about Oblivion's events. The people in the Imperial City saw the worst thing possible, and the greatest miracle. I haven't beaten Morrowind yet but I can see why no one would talk about that, since the Nerevarine was just an Ashlander prophecy.

Jagar Tharn's plot happend not even 40 years before Oblivion

Skyrim is 5 times that time span

True, but there are people still alive from the Oblivion Crisis. It's the same today with the old seniors who tell their stories about the Holocaust. It was an age ago, but they still talk about it to the newer generation. If I saw what happened at the Temple of the one, or even just encountered an Oblivion Gate, I'd carry that with me.

Yes a goof becuase nothing in the way the event is protrayed in skyrim shows it was a goof.

I swear people just love twisting things to hate on the game companies.

hey, wooo, hey there. I love beth and completly and unquestinly adore thier games, but to find that a VERY signifigant event is almost overlooked (save for a super mini faction and a "museum") is quite a mistake. then again, half of the people in the game not only acnolage the civil war , but seem to forget about the dragons. so do reference these two events ingame (background NPC's), most hardly react. No one flees when the dragons arrive, youd think with a civil war and dragons they would just go. But thats off topic. my point is that they didnt exacly make the characters aware of what is happening or has happened in game very much.

yeah Elves are alive from then and they dont exactly get the chance to talk to many people about it

ohh well OFC they dont becuase everyone would leave and there would be no one left.

Also Nords, and many of the other races, are proud and strong people, feeling from The Dragons would be shameful
