Who will side with the Forsworn?

My main is a Breton. He hasn't done any of the relevant quests....yet.

But he will.

On my first 4 characters, I sided with the so-called "King of Rags" only because I didn't realize there was an option not to.

That's why I love this game. On my fifth character I am still discovering new things. I have built up such a hatred for the Forsworn, I finally decided to show that dirty old bastard what I thought about him. Then I notice he had a note detailing the escape plan, and a key to the gate that he and his goons were going to use to escape.

So as Im breaking out of Cidnah Mine (in record time btw), Im thinking "oh nooo, how am I suppose to get my stuff back?" Because in all my previous playthroughs, one of the forsworn goons takes care of that issue. This time, that Silver-Blood dude greets me as I walk out of the ruins, thanks me for everything and then pardons me and gives me my stuff back!

So yea... never siding with the forsworn again.

Death to the Forsworn!! :drag: I do not like them at all. They kill innocent people and they're also cannibals. Enough for me to say that I'm killing them in the name of justice  and i also like bunnies :bunny: something the forsworn does'nt have in common with me...

Actually i found one forsworn camp thats friendly  it's called Druadach Redoubt.

All though considering all the forsworn in skyrim isnt united as one, they have all a good reason to try to kill an armed man closing in on their camp

That only happens if you've already helped them in the Cidhna Mine quest. It's where Madanach goes after you help him escape from Markarth. Otherwise, they're as hostile as any other Forsworn... at least they always have been when I go there.

Well i guess if you don't help them and probably kill them they will be hostile towards you.

I'm pretty sure if i lounged at of of the Companions they'd turn hostile and attack me.

In my experience I've never had to lunge at any Forsworn in an encampment in order to make them hostile. I just have to walk by on my way to somewhere else, and if I get too close they start shouting warnings and firing off arrows in my direction.

There's one place right on the roadside that I had to pass by numerous times in the course of the CW, and every single time some Forsworn chick keeping watch on the ramparts would start shouting that she was going to get me and start shooting. This while I was walking straight down the middle of a main public road, minding my own business, weapons sheathed, no indication of hostile intent towards them whatsoever.

Point is that with the Forsworn in general, the only thing required to make them hostile is proximity. If you are near where they are and they know you are there, that's usually all it takes.

It seems like an easy fix is it not? This is my newbie side talking and I may try this. Make a mod and change your faction to theirs. Should be a 10 minute deal start to finish. Yes?
unfortunately, some of us dont have that benefit which i hate cause the forsworn are my favourite guild!!! Im hoping for DLC related to the forsworn.
