The best way to slow my level rate?

Post » Thu Jun 07, 2012 4:30 am

To best way slow level ever explained is this way:

1. Only play once or twice a week
2. When you play, Do not do anything else but go out in the wilderness and fight wolves and other small creatures until you get some skills leveled up.
3. After leveling skills make sure you get arrested.

Doing those 3 things will ensure that you level as slow as possible

I also notice that the more I fast travel, the less experience I receive because I'm not engaging three wolves and a troll to walk a 1/4 mile.

I use Kyne's Peace. It's the most handy of Shouts.

Focus on 3-5 skills and you should be fine. I've never had a problem with leveling too quickly unless I grinded Smithing.

Also, don't use the Guardian Stones. This helps out a little.

Check out the guy in my sig. Archery is his only skill which levels normally. The others are fully under my control. I level alchemy as fast as I want. Light armor is also under my control because I very rarely get hit. I level speech slowly because I don't fast travel so rarely visit towns. And lockpicking levels slowly enough that I haven't found the need to ignore locked chests yet. This character will last hundreds of hours :).
