Too bad there is no therapists in Skyrim...

Their called wizards. Jarl Laila Law-Giver of Riften gave a task to her court-wizard Wylandriah to determine the cause of her son's (Saerlund) sickness.

I don't know who my character is. He put his life on the line for the empire and yet he killed the emperor without regret. He became Archmage without casting a single spell. He lead the companions and is listener for the brotherhood. He pledges his soul to Nocturnal when his soul belongs to many others already. He is the Dovhkiin and he killed Paarthunaax and betrayed the Greybeards because he was told to. Morals does not come to mind when he is asked to do something, he does things without hesitation simply because he was told to do so. He served all Daedric gods without hesitation.

Who is my character? Can I explain my actions to properly roleplay with him? Is it even possible to roleplay now with the things I have done? After 100 hours of gameplay with him I feel nothing he did ever mattered.

This is your character:

Your character grew up within the Empire, and his father was a respected imperial general. However, the father was a man of the people, and didn't like the emperor. he always said to your character "I fight for the Empire, not the emperor". When your chqaracter was 12 years old, he watched as an assassin killed the father in his sleep. Your character waited as the assassin was about to leave the house, and then swung his little dagger against the assassin's back. The Assassin dodged in time and disarmed the boy, but he spared his life as he saw the strength in the little boy's eyes.

The boy then grew up with his uncle, who learned the boy that morals are for the weak, and that life is a game where you must make the rules or die. The boy grew up and practiced the art of combat, and he descended into the underworld in order to find out the truth about his father's death. It turned out that the assassin had been sent by the emperor himself since started to feel suspicious about the father's disloyalty.

Motivated to serve the Empire but getting revenge on the Emperor, your character left Cyrodiil since he was being hunted down by the leaders of the underworld. He remembered that his father had always told stories of the greatness of Skyrim, so your character chose to head north.

On the border, your character was caught by the Legion who thought he helped the Stormcloaks. [...]

In Skyrim, he joined the Legion to serve the Empire, he joined the Dark Brotherhood since he felt a connection to the assassin of his father, he joined the Companions because they remembered your character of his father, and he joined the Collage to learn magic (and he later felt that he didn't deserve to be Archmage since he was barely an apprentice). Your character choose to aid the Blades instead of graybeards because The Blades was once important to the empire, and your character wanted to help them regain strength. He served the Daedric gods since he thought "morals are for the weak".

Your character also got his revenge on the emperor at last.

I hope you enjoy this backstory.

I don't know who my character is. He put his life on the line for the empire and yet he killed the emperor without regret.
He might've liked the empire as an organization, but just not the leader of it. The emperor was weak anyway, and completely unable to protect his territory against the Aldmeri dominion. So you're in fact very passionate about your loyalty, but only to whoever you really pledge it to (you didn't do it to the emperor in your mind, only to the empire). That oath you swore? F.u.c.k. that, you don't believe in oaths/promises/vows/... anyway!

He became Archmage without casting a single spell.
You're Dragonborn, revered by all Nords. The College is suffering from scorn amongst the general Skyrim populace (especially Nords). What better way for the school to boost its popularity by making the Dragonborn the archmage? About the Psijics, just imagine they probably know something about your future or whatever which drives them to supporting you in your archmage-ness. Oh yeah, and you ... you had to infiltrate the College to get into Saarthal, and afterwards felt obliged on keeping up appearances at the place by not stopping to take on jobs. Those mages could come in handy once again after all.

He lead the companions and is listener for the brotherhood.
You simply have a dark side, which you keep hidden from all other factions. The Harbinger isn't even a real leader to the Companions, only someone with a bit more influence. You are a warrior, so I don't see any trouble with being a member of the Companions.

He pledges his soul to Nocturnal when his soul belongs to many others already.
I guess your character would love to see the infighting between the Daedra and Aedra after he's died. As do most of our characters anyway.

He is the Dovhkiin and he killed Paarthunaax and betrayed the Greybeards because he was told to. Morals does not come to mind when he is asked to do something, he does things without hesitation simply because he was told to do so. He served all Daedric gods without hesitation.
Well, you're saying it yourself: your character is simply someone who always feels obliged to do everything what people tell him to do, without thinking (some sort of mental disorder). Like an addiction; he feels very restless if he doesn't do that. He's in fact a perfect soldier. Also explains your passionate loyalty to those you deem worthy (or at least worthy enough at that time), why you kept on taking jobs from the College despite not being a mage, and so on. You're not an extremely altruistic character, no, you simply have OCD with following orders and can't decline requests.

Who is my character? Can I explain my actions to properly roleplay with him? Is it even possible to roleplay now with the things I have done? After 100 hours of gameplay with him I feel nothing he did ever mattered.
Well, he certainly isn't easy to roleplay, but everything is possible, as long as you twist it enough. And he'll probably become pretty boring. You could always try to invent some background information about him (how was his youth, what happened which drove him to Skyrim, ...), and generate some character development. Maybe his condition will get worse, and he'll hallucinate and follow orders from imaginary npcs, or the like ...

My character is an Argonian thief. He lies, cheats, steals and betrays friends if he thinks it will benefit his own end. He was part of a bandit crew before he was captured and brought to Helgen for execution.
His lack of morals has made role playing very easy. He has helped both the empire and the Dark Brotherhood, but through lying and trickery, benefits from comradery with both.

He's posessed by a spirit from an alternate plane. This spirit is called a "Gamer". Not even the Greybeards know what plane these spirits come from or what their agenda is; they are more alien even than the Daedra. Their only motivation seems to be to keep their host very, very busy.

You are probably right, maybe I can roleplay him as completely bonkers?
I RP'd my Oblivion toon as a psychotic Nord slave turned prisoner, turned fugitive, turned prisoner again, turned gladiator, turned assassin, turned master thief, turned Champion of Cyrodiil, turned Divine Crusader, turned Madgod. Fitting he was a lunatic at first then became the god of lunes.

He just likes a challenge, doesn't care in what form, just as long as he has something to fight. My character is like that, I will not limit myself to content unless there are two mutually exclusive quets.
