Who is the Nicest Character?

Post » Thu Jun 07, 2012 5:46 pm

I like Jarl Balgruff.

He's not a good guy or a bad guy, nor does he side with the Imperials or Stormcloaks. That's what I like about Balgruff. I don't like people who are always the "good" guys and follow the law to the letter.

Theres a a lot of nice people in it.

Brunwulf Free-Winter is one of the nicest, most honourable, people in the game.

I agree.
I would like to marry him, have Erik as my son, and Tolfdir as my dad because he seems like he'd make a great grandpa.

Ralof and Hadvar. They risk their lives to help a complete stranger. Especially Hadvar, I mean Ralof is an escaped prisoner himself at that point and has very good reason to run away, but Hadvar goes against all his orders to help a possible criminal and/or undercover rebel and leave the rest of the legion behind in Helgen. I'm sure his superiors aren't too happy with him once he gets back with the legion.
I have to agree with that. They may become jealous of the Dragonborn later on if you join and advance a CW questline, but that doesn't change that fact that they are generally some pretty awesome dudes who risked their life for a complete stranger.

Brunwulf is also a very nice man and seems very honorable.

Balgruuf is a good man in his own way, openly disregarding possible political complications to protect his people.

Legate Rikke is a soldier, but I get the impression she is a nice person under the soldier.

Kodlak and Tolfdir are also very nice.

There are many nice people in the world. Sadly many of them are caught up in a Civil War.

J'zargo! :D I know he seems kind of full of himself. But I think it's just kind of like a friendly rivalry, y'know?

Ondolmer, cause he reinforces my PC's superiority over men.

Elenwen, because she's the boss.

Tolfdir is always nice. I agree there's a lot of nice people. Ysolda, even when she wants her ring back. Brand-Shei is very sweet and I don't do TG. :tes:

Before discovering her secret and setting her off, Anise is pretty cool. I was dorking around with a new character and "discovered" her shack. After talking to her for a bit, my character walked north and ran into the three thugs dressed as imperial soldiers. After my level 3 character had her head handed to her a few times I reloaded again. This time my character managed to only anger the thug leader who begins to chase her. She runs back toward Anise's shack. Anise burns this clown down while my character is hopping and jumping out of the way thug's two-handed axe.

Ysolda gets my vote. Her voice actress just has a kind way of speaking that endures people to the NPCs she voices. She also stands up to Nazeem and is willing to deal with the kitties outside the city.

According to the unofficial elder scrolls page, if you meet up with Hadvar in Solitude later on, you'll find that he's been promoted. Also he didn't disobey orders, Tullius ordered him to get to keep and that they were pulling out. Finally you weren't in their records, so you weren't actually guilty of anything as far as Hadvar is concerned, and if you talk to Tullius later about it he agrees with Hadvar it was a misunderstanding. It's a moot point anyway given the town getting hit with a god dragon and all.

That said I like Hadvar too, I also like Ysolda from Whiterun, Quintis from Windheim, Faralda, and the gro-Bagol's from Markarth, and a few others who I can't remember off the top of my head.

The only really nice character that comes to mind is Tolfdir.

There are others that are very likable and apparently honest. like Brelyna Maryon, Farkas, Constance Michel at he Riften Orphanage, etc. But I'd say Tolfdir is the nicest because of the time you spend with him during the CoW quests.
