Level 26 in less than 13 hours :O [PC]

The problem is that there are some people who also feel that leveling is too slow. To each his own, honestly.

xcuse me, but i fail to see what level has to do with difficulty. 1 level adds 10hp/mp/st and 1 perk. Which is not much. And levels mobs too. So in fact leveling often increases difficulty. It is most obvious in Morrowind, where you could got levels from Running and Jumping, and suddenly face Dremora Lords.

Really wtfomg perks all require skill level 100. So tied to character development.

But the enemies are too easy now at level 26. Will they not get easier as I level and get better equipment?

you play on adept so kick it up to expert or master

I have not started any guild or main quests and have probably only done 25% of the map even though I have like 20 incomplete quests in my journal. I have been ranking up smithing to about 60 but I have only some Orc pieces so I don't think this is the main culprit of the high level and my Alchemy is 15 and Enchanting is about 40. I use sword and shield and play on Adept.

I have been using PISE, Deadly Dragons and Vals Crafting Meltdown amongst many texture mods which have made the game more enjoyable but I still am finding myself too strong!

Try to search this quote carefully, and I'm willing to bet you can find the solution to your problem

Just put it on Master, problem solved.

Leveling slows down to a crawl around level 50, the point where most cap their 5-6 main skills.

Hmm. I played on Adept, and used a bunch of skills (like, 10-12) with my first character. My leveling was pretty slow, and enemies gave me decent challenge up into the upper 40's.

It all depends on playstyle and how you level your skills. OP mentions that his Smithing is 60 already at lv26. I'm pretty sure mine wasn't nearly that high.... if I'd leveled it up that much, then, yeah - I'm pretty sure I would have leveled faster (since higher skill-ups are worth more leveling xp).

on the larger topic.... no, I didn't really find leveling to be "too fast". Yes, it's quick at the beginning (low xp needed per level) so that you can start getting some perks & stat gains down, and define your playstyle a bit. But then it slows.

Also, I didn't use any of the "faster leveling" guardian stones.

(I hit around level 50 at...... 80, 90 hours?)
