Do you think if we beg enough, BGS will put in the Jam stuff

I am just really happy that we finally got proof that it's possible and above all, really mother-gently-caress'ing cool.

Adjust brightness settings in game and tweak your tv settings and you'll have dark dungeons...some dungeons are barely visible with a torch/candelight and night feels right for me.

People need to stop complaining to beth because their tv svcks and their settings aren't right

I know where you're coming from, but I'm against that. I don't like the idea of having to change my settings just because I want to experience something a certain way, especially when we're supposed to be able to see well in most dungeons in the first place, so we might miss things. That, and I don't want torches/Night Eye looking funky because of changed settings.

I think they should add this stuff on as the DLC comes out I know for sure that the pc will prob be able to handle, the ps3 should be able to, but the xbox i dont think it can handle an update like that.

I hope bethesda adds werebears, so I can roleplay a http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beorn http://www.google.com/imgres?q=beorn+battle+of+the+five+armies&um=1&hl=en&sa=N&rlz=1R2ADRA_en&biw=1024&bih=571&tbm=isch&tbnid=CrmOXHc0BDH24M:&imgrefurl=http://thesilverkey.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html&docid=_WDy7YapmpUSsM&imgurl=http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_bT2CzLtfRJ8/Sc10GthJ5GI/AAAAAAAAAcI/CdO9_b6NMP8/s400/Battle%252Bof%252BFive%252BArmies%252Bboardgame.jpg&w=400&h=271&ei=8eMzT_zwLq-A2QWuqbWQAg&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=440&vpy=143&dur=1211&hovh=185&hovw=273&tx=121&ty=210&sig=109547560279429947781&page=1&tbnh=117&tbnw=151&start=0&ndsp=17&ved=1t:429,r:3,s:0.

I disagree, but we will see.

(Not that I'm incredibly knowledgeable about the development process or anything)

This stuff does not sound DLC worthy to me, I wouldn't pay for these little tiny additions. I wouldn't mind it being in a bigger DLC, or a patch. I really dont want dragon riding. Vampire Feeding definitely needs to be put in above all of these imo!

That would be a pretty big patch, though. Maybe a free add-on/plugin, or part of a bigger DLC?

I'm pretty sure Bethesda know we want this stuff but I'm not above e-begging, I love the idea of the base game being enhanced rather than waiting on large DLC's which mostly ignore the main world.

To the people complaining that all this stuff should have been in the game from the start, at what point during your 100-300 hour gaming session did you decide you'd gotten bad value for money? Bethesda need to stop somewhere or the game wouldn't ever get released, granted I think they should have done a better job testing but when it comes to sheer volume I can't seriously accept anyone's complaints.

So please Bethesda, put some of this stuff up on Steam

Why ps3 should be able to run these mods if Xbox wouldn't? It isn't that much more powerful than Xbox, and the game runs better on xbox now than it does on ps3.
Either of these consoles couldn't have SSAO but they probably won't have much problems with other things.

Whats wrong with big patches again? lol

I could deal with Free DLC, I just don't think this stuff should be something we have to pay for seeing as they are just minor game play improvements.

LOL exactly what I think sometimes. Sure, people can have valid complaints, but if you're 100+ hours in and saying that you didn't get any bang for your buck...well, there's no reasoning with someone who's not intelligent enough to realize how illogical that is.

I know video games can be expensive (not just in terms of games, but equipment and electric bills), but where else in the world can you spend $60 for hundreds of hours of entertainment?

You might get these stuff, if you ask the modders politely instead of begging Bethesda. After all modders are not constrained by several factors that Beth devs will have to consider (eg: whether it can be run on consoles).

Werebears, spears, vampire lords, lycanthropy perk tree, mounted combat, flails, combining spells, and dark dungeons are among the things us fans have been asking for. To add to that, they show epic mudcrabs, fat giants, building a home anywhere in the wilderness (with a skeleton butler!), and then some.

There is no way anybody on these forums could not want all of this. Todd "doesn't know" whether they'll end up as DLC or free add-ons or what, but from what I've seen, the outcry is enormous--we're all totally jelly.

Edit: A video link to the important bits of the jam. While these links litter the forums as of the last hour, I think it's important to post at least this at the beginning of every relevant thread.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=AYOFLqItuW4

I will not dismiss the importance of this video.
It shows 3 things:

- People at Bethesda do pay attention, do read these forums. A number of popular requests were addressed.
- Skyrim is a vastly improvable game.
- Time management might not be Todd's strongest attributes.

I thought the unexpected Giant Mudcrab looked truly awesome. I actually welcome the change in scale, since in SKyrim every creature's size falls roughly within the same scope.

But for a few intentionally silly features, I'd take them all, pack then into DLC and sell them like brownies.

Which is exactly why I won't ask modders, as I play on PS3.

Besides, PC players don't deserve any more than console players. They get mods because they can and we can't, sure, but the entire community would be upset if DLC was platform exclusive--I've heard no on say anything positive on the fact that Xbox will be seeing the DLC a month earlier than the rest of us.

I guess you haven't heard have you?

First DLC is Xbox exclusive...for 30 days.

If anything the PS3 wont be able to run this, this game was made on the xbox and ported to pc/ps3 so I think it's more than capable.

Putting that in unannounced would be awesome. (As in, not as a DLC but sneaking it in via a patch..) I would crap my pants if that "surprise" came out of the water.
