Can't Help but feel left out.

There are mods made for TES games that *intentionally* cause harm to systems
Could you provide an example? Thanks.

As one of the previous reply's stated, it would have to be a dumbed down version of the Creation engine, probably wouldn't be worth waiting for, best leaving it for PC, although I have a rig, and a damn good one, I will stick to playing Skyrim on console.

So Pc gets the creation kit and xbox and ps3 gets nothing. I can't help but feel ive been punished for not playing on a pc Just saying...How do you all feel? And for you PC players keep in mind not all of us can just go out and buy a new pc.. Some of us dont live with our moms and dads. Thanks guys.

1. The downside to console gaming is that you can't mod games. This has been a huge flaw with console gaming long before Skyrim, its not just a "Skyrim" thing.

2. The amount of money you put out for a 360 PS3 and accesories is the same amount of money it would cost to make a decent gaming PC. This idea that gaming PC's cost $2,000 is stupid. I built a top of the line PC for $800 and could have made that price tag more along the lines of $600 if I wanted to.

If you play on a console you need to just accept the fact that you will not be modding any of the games you buy for it. This shouldn't be news to anyone and I really don't understand why it is.

I own a 360, PS3 and Wii so this isn't a bias PC user bash. It's simply stating the facts.

Don't know to be brutally honest lol, because I played Arena and Morrowind on PC long before 360 even existed, I guess because I use my PC for ToR, and until recently WoW, I feel my rig is there for an MMO experience, and my 360 is there to escape the rabble, god knows, I have a strange way of looking at things :)

The one major problem is the consoles outdated tech,if they had ram slots and adequate cooling and power supply people could upgrade as they go,it would'nt be a pc more like a ponsole.those three cores are old but they're still pushing as best as they can, knowing MS and sony they will push for total online and all you get for your money is a link on a cd,they will probaly cite mass piracy and have the american goverment pay millions in huge FBI investigations and arrest a few really fat millionaires just to save a few more years of having to develop a new machine.

That really is the entire 'console issue' in a nutshell. There is absolutely no tech reason why consoles can't be made modular, with the ability to upgrade the various componetry as time moves on...but they won't do it, yet. And the big word as to why they won't do it is 'Monopoly'...which is synomous with 'Microsoft'.

Edit:

And I'll just throw in that in Australia, where I live, the average age of video gamers is 32+ years old...we are the moms and dads.

This has probably been said 1000 times. PC gamers are handed poorly ported games made for consoles all of the time. Skyrim is no exception, except 2 months after release we get a texture pack and mod tools. This is really nice but does not negate the fact that skyrim is DX9 because of consoles. A lot of features are not in this game because of hardware limitations of consoles.

With that said I got Oblivion for 360. 6 months later I bought a new PC along with oblivion for PC because PC lets you play games the way you want. And in oblivion and skyrims case it allows you to mod the game easily.

And all PC gamers live with their parents? Screw you. Since when is spending 800 bucks on a computer unattainable for most people? Build a comp yourself and you get a hell of a lot for 800 bucks (or less).

So again, screw you. You are playing on a 7 year old piece of hardware; you are not allowed to be upset about anything.

I'm in nz and i have no idea why we sent a swat team to get kim.dotcom, the guy could'nt run to the letter box without having a heartattack,it's the clamp down starting here in my country, very soon posting like this will be considered treason. Here's one for thought, passports to surf outside your country? Tedtalks.com.

If the poor op is living in nz then i can understand, our prices here are out right mafia and the idiots here happily show their stats at how exspensive it was for them but if he used his head they're ways to use the box it just takes alot of surfing.i'm probaly going to get warned.

Did people not get the memo? Did you honestly think the most restrictive consoles made so far would have the CK or mods? You bought skyrim lite on your own free will and accord. No one forced you to buy it instead of getting the full game. Also you had to of known going in that the consoles couldn't provide the full Elder Scrolls experience. So how exactly are you being punished? If anything you are just punishing yourself for your own poor descion.

They already get the first two official DLC long before we do.

I take this as an insult. Also it's your stupid mistake for buying a console. My PC cost roughly $600, and it can do a heck of a lot more than be used for gaming. SO FEEL LEFT OUT!!! MWAUHH HA HA HA!!!

Platform bashing, delusions of superiority, a touch of fear-mongering, and good old name calling. You could say this was not our finest hour. Closing before I have to hand out warnings and posting suspensions.
