How can I tell Bethesda BIGUP! (so they hear it)

Post » Sun Jun 10, 2012 10:05 am

I have to agree with all the so called 'dissidents', Skyrim is a step down from all other TES games in terms of depth and story. Graphics are beautiful, favor some of the additions like blacksmithing but it should have been more complex. Love the TES series, just don't really like/enjoy the 5th installment. I hope they have some really story driven DLC that adds some pull to the game.
screen name change maybe?

He said he didn't like Skyrim not the whole TES series.

It's interesting how on these forums when some people don't agree with a poster they resort to personel attacks instead of countering them with an valid argument

Personel Attack
You are most welcome. Beth did have you in mind when they designed it, seeing there was a shortage of games for your age.

Reasonable, Debate or Discussion of Viewpoints/Opinions on the Game.
A truly great game has the accessibility for a child of 11, and still depth enough for an advlt.

Your a failure as far as critics go.

Making statements without arguements to support them is easy!

Skyrim is great as a game, it could be better and there is potential for more.
But the product sold is enough value for my money and I believe countless others.
Beats any other game that came out this year for me.

But this being the internet it's a suprise so few people complained as they did. (with which I mean unconstructive whine posts)
I think we have the moderators to thank for that.
yeah we can sit here and back up our dislike for Skyrim with a wall of words explaining every detail and arguement, but it is pointless. We have spoke till we are blue in the face since Oblivion and BGS is going to do what they want with the series no matter what fans want from it. So most of us at this point are tired of dropping 4 pargraphs of our time typing for something that will never happen, change for the better...Because it only seems to get worse. Todd Howard said it straight out on the last video, KEEP IT SIMPLE. If his idea of keeping the development of BGS games simple is gutting the features to nothing more then a skeleton of its former self. Then I guess TES is dead or dying. I spent more time on Oblivion before I was bored and I liked Skyrim more. Oblivion wasn't great, but atleast it still had enough features to keep me interested. After 2 lousy months with Skyrim I was yawning....lol

Morrowind will always have a special place in my heart and Oblivion was a blast for the most part.
But Skyrim is the best of the series for me, yea, it's not perfect but they got a lot of things right this time, the look and atmosphere is captivating and the combat and perks are just plain fun.

By the time they patch it up some more, get some DLC, and then the sweet mods the community comes up with, Skyrim is really gone take off.

If us people on the fourms dont tell Bethesda what the fans want they wont give it to us, bellive it or not we need more users to complain about evrey little thing wrong so they make a good game instead of a lousy one.

I agree, but an advice:

If you truly want to be heard stop posting your opinions and crucial feedback about what you belive is wrong, in threads titled "I LOVE SKYRIM!"

So you want to give them a "Big ups" for making a pretty nice open world and filling it up with mostly average content?
.
This Game is Off-The-Hook! Insane amount of choices, next level graphix and all kinds of enemies (from easy to hard).
This line is hilarious.

Depth in Skyrim that's a new one where exactly was this depth in the main quest??in the NCP characters,in the impacting decisions?in the guild quests?no real consequences for a persons actions.Sorry but the game is as shallow as a puddle.

Bethesda don't give 2 hoots whether or not you like the game. They only care about the money in their pocket, and they're very happy at the moment because they have lots of it.

I'm not saying this is something wrong with bethesda, it's just the way of the world.

No sense knocking a game except to mouth off a bit.
Which is what I'm doing.
For people who love this game - that's great. I envy you.
If you don't like it, just move on to a game you like.
I enjoyed the game, but it pales for me compared to Morrowind and Oblivion.
Still don't regret buying it at all.
The graphics are terrific, but weren't enough to make me praise the game as a whole.
The graphics are the only thing that got me through it.
I went through once, and there were no real challenges.
Did all side quests too.
Maybe playing a Breton and pumping up Conjuration made it too easy.
Kept Erandur with me all the time too.
Somebody mentioned "choices."
When I found out it didn't matter to the story whether I chose the Stormcloaks or the Imperials I basically lost all interest in the story and just went through the motions.
When I finished it months ago I had no desire to return to it.
Maybe in a couple years.
But like I said, I envy those who really like it and can keep playing.
Everybody likes different things.
It's good when you want to replay multiple times.
More power to those who see this game that way.
