So i thought it through and thought to share it to the community board of Skyrim. Recently, we have heard news of DLC brainstorm idea spillouts over the web.
Seeing that a perk tree has been spoken of for werewolves, we might as well have a vampire tree. But more so, to the bottom line, we should have a quest line between Vampire and Werewolf.
Ever watch Underworld? If so, you know where I'm going with this.
Different story lines, the werewolves and vampires in Skyrim has recently been noticed, unlike morrowind and oblivion. In thought, I think they should have a war like story line between the two cults.
So if you're a vampire, you are notified to travel across Skyrim to a small domain coven, to where vampires thrive as home or if you're a werewolf, you are notified (Unsure if it should be by letter or should be by companion. If companion, you have to beat the companion quest.) to travel to the domain coven of the werewolves.
As the player reach their destination and listen to a story of an ancient secret war between vampires and werewolves, depending on what you are, you are told that you're going to war against the cult. Your goal is to exterminate the entire coven (If vampire, that may include killing off all the companions. Which may lead to fail if you didn't finish the quest line.)
The quest line's length would be like the civil war quest lines length. Throughout the quest, you are given items/weapons as rewards, gold, fame, new followers, new possible marriages, and the right to use the perk tree of the werewolf or the vampire.
I thought this would be a neat idea. I was thinking about the war between the Imperial/Stormcloaks and the Thalmor, but something tells me that is already in the works, seeing that Beth left a major gap in the ending of one of the two sides near the end.
Discuss and extra ideas.
Hi there!
I'll pass. I'm not too keen on the whole Twilight fad.
I am kinda hoping for some gameplay enhancements, along with some cool new locations.
So, not for my palate, I'm affraid.
