I think Skyrim is amazing yeah, but I think it was made to suit "the average gamer" someone who just likes to play that one game and generally doesnt care about the series, Dont get me wrong, I love the game, but its like the other games never even happened.

I feel like this is true because I know several people and have friends who have never played any of TES and they saw Skyrim and thought it looked cool and decided to play it. They do not care about the story or lore or anything, just that they get to fight dragons which kind of pisses me off it is these type of people that are ruining video games.
