Nords are cowards...

Then you should be laughing your ass off while playing every single TES title. I don’t know why they write stuff and refuse to make it work the way they wrote it, but they do A LOT. The Khajiit you see is actualy not the most common version of the Khajiit in TES, the most common version looks a lot like bosmer with tattoos all over its face but noo we had to get the furry kitty one instead of the most common one that is suposed to be everywhere according to lore.

In the first two games, Khajiit's were the bosmer looking fellows that you described. Who'd want to play a bosmer who has tattoos instead of a human cat mix?

Also, Argonians, being the only beast race, were getting pretty lonely.

Edit: The only reason that's in the lore is because of the first two games, if they were cats from the start it wouldn't be in there. You can also pretend some of the Bosmer you see in Skyrim are actually Khajiit's.

Yesterday "Aela the Huntress" and my "Nord" male character fought a savage dragon and Aela the Huntress killed the dragon with her newly equiped Daedric Bow and Daedric Arrows!, I rest my case!

Does anyone else get irked when non-nords call nords milk-drinkers? I'm pretty sure Milk-drinker is a saying by nords to be said to well...anyone not a true nord. If you aint a nord you cant use the saying (just my opinion)

OT: I have never seen guards flee, OP your game must be mentally handicapped. Guards almost always fight to the death, I was under attack by a giant and the thing was swarmed with guards when I got near the city, sure more than half of them died, but not one ran...and then I conveniently snuck back in for the killing blow :D

When thugs are trying to teach me a lesson, I have seen a guard or two scramble out of the way (maybe with the words "get me out of here"), and I have also heard guards say, "This is gonna be good!" In other in-town fights, I have heard comments like "My money is on the big one" and "Get her", though I could not tell who was talking. It is a refreshing change from Oblivion, where guards think every fight is their fight.

One day I saw three Companions have a run-in with two giants and a mammoth. One Companion started fighting, and the other two immediately retreated a ways and turned back to watch from a distance as the first got pounded into the ground. Then a second Companion approached the giants, and started fighting them, and lost fast. Finally, the third companion marched in, and reached very high altitude, and came down somewhere on the opposite side of a hill. Fun stuff!

Game mechanic, nothing more. I have seen Orc men flee in terror as bosmer females charged into battle screaming. (sorry for the possible sixist tone of that)
