Sianara Skyrim

Post » Mon Jun 11, 2012 3:16 pm

I know I probably spelt that wrong^ Anywho...I've decided to move my attention from Skyrim to Kingdom of Amalur. Skyrim was and is a great game, but it feels like there is soo much missing from it that I find it hard to get into. The bugs never put me off, it was just that, while there is soo much in the game, it feels soo static (nothing really changes, your like a ghost). Not starting a war between the two,and I will return to play the DLC and fiddle around with the toys that are being thrown into the patches, but any serious gameplay is gone. See you all later  :tes:

FEEL like a ghost, not get one :P only the guards seem to really recognize you. And the world feels soo dead.

You didn't get my point. I was being a grammar nazi and a troll because you said your instead of you're.

Well have fun with that Kingdom of Amalur game. I saw the trailer and checked out the website and that game looks way too cheesy for my tastes. I will stick with Skyrim.

EDIT: I did just order Two Worlds 2 and Dark Souls though (both at a deep discount). I do love open world games.

I dont think you get too much recognition by any NPC on kigdom of Amalur than Skyrim give you, however combat system and character develop looks promising a little fancy , but good. For my point of view its good that exist another propose about western A-RPG open world (the map of KoA is very small), bethesda can learn that its posible to assign a button to make a dodging move, or destruction is more than fire frost and bolt, or putting tramps on the floor could be a good option for stealthy characters etc.

It's "sayonara", it's Japanese for goodbye, I think.

They had most of that in the first Two Worlds, but yeah, I am glad to see another open world RPG even if it is a little too fanciful for my tastes. Kind of like the poll they had here a while back where everyone preferred leather, steel and iron armors to the fancy Daedric, Elven and Glass stuff, I like my RPGs dark and gritty with a look and feel that reminds me of the original Robert E. Howard Conan books, which are awesome by the way -- totally different than the Hollywood version (no offense to the Governator).

I played the demo for Kingdom of Amalur to get the Mass Effect 3 items, and I was pleased with it. It almost reminded me of the original Fable, with its combat style and graphics(in a good way), and the story seemed fun. I hope you enjoy it, OP.
