My sneaky thieving Khajiit is into light leather armor, daggers and bows and refuses to use anything else. No silly magic or shouts, that's just not her style.
As a rather low level char, almost any creature, man or mer can take her down in combat (playing on master difficulty). She recognizes and respects the dangers of this land, always trying not to get detected why hostile targets or victims are nearby.
One day she sneaks into her first dwemer ruin, carefully progressing down the dark path. With her night vision she detects bandits a room ahead, but pulls back around the last corner to prepare for a back stabbing attack. While poisoning her dagger she notices a useless armor she's carrying, probably picked up by accident on her last robbing spree. She decides to drop it. The bandit from the next room suddenly stands in front of her, nearly giving her a heart attack. But the North is very kind and asks her politely if he can have the armor she dropped. Caught completely off guard, she hesitates but agrees. Once the North got what he came for he pulls out his sword and decapitates her.
She always thought the Norths bandits were single minded, but this time she got out smarted with a technique she wasn't a aware of: a verbal backstab.
