If you're on the PC, you can make time go even much faster by opening the console and typing

set timescale to 3000000

(default is 30)

(any ridiculously large number of your choice is possible, for examples' sake, I just added a bunch of 0's to the default)

You can make one year pass in a matter of minutes.
On the other side of the coin if you are on PC you can use the "SetTimeScale To" console command to whatever you desire. I usually set mine to "9".

If you put a smaller number then the default then it should slow time down, but I play on console but look at what The tallest wrote, he put a 9 in place of the default 30 which leads me to belive his time now pass a 10th of what it did to start with.

I was a super nerd when I started to play Oblivion and noticed that some times during certain months that the shops would open later then normal ...

Hm, I've noticed, from time to time, when arriving at a city after normal business hours, that some joints are still open. I figured this was a glitch, though, since others were closed. Obviously, places like the Drunken Huntsman in Whiterun are an exception. Sometimes businesses close after 7pm! I came to Skyrim from WoW, which was incredibly rich on holidays, often lasting weeks. I have to admit, in addition to fishing, it's something I miss. Just the variety and the seasonal quests, too.

From a technical standpoint, there has to be a hard cap. From a practical standpoint, you could probably play the game for hundreds of years (real time) and not reach the cap.

Here's hoping that isn't 4E 256. I plan to keep Veronica going for many in-game years to come lol.

IIRC timescale is a 1:1 setting. Meaning if timescale was set to 1 in game it would take an hour for 1 hour game time. What you want try set timescale to 4.

As has been stated before, the default timescale is 20:1. So 3 minutes real time equals 1 hour game time. PC players have the luxury of altering that to something reasonable.

Its actually a 1:1 minute scale, so he would need to set it to 15. 1 minute real time is 15 minutes game time.

im sure with hacks you can get to 4E 300, or by spamming the "wait" button.

2+2 and 32/8 equals the same thing. I just worded the equation differently to use small numbers. Your math is wrong though. He wants 15 real minutes to equal 1 in game hour. If default is 20:1 and 3 minutes ingame=1hour and he wants it 5 times slower than that you would divide the default timescale (20) by 5 which equals 4.

Where to change it ?
On the PC version use your '~' key to open up the console and type 'set timescale to 4' without quotes and hit enter.

And it will reset itself or I can keep it ?
