However there are a few things that still dont feel right.
- Why arent mage players able to see their staffs on their backs when sheated? if dual wielding the player would have crossed staffs on his back, I find this really annoying because my mage magically pulls his staffs out of his a**. The same applies for dual wielded weapons, we should be able to see both weapons sheated, not just 1.
- some animations are clumsy and unfinished, the silent roll animation is horrible, the character dsnt finish the roll before returning to the standard position, and why arent we allowed to roll backwards? or sideways like in oblivion?
- Allow us to make arrows! its annoyng having the best bow and armor in the game and having to carry iron arrows!
- companions AI is ridiculous, especially when sneaking. My companion rushes into an enemy camp after I take my first long range sneak attack, even if im not discovered, he rushes in.
- Non combatant npcs should be scripted to take cover when a f***** dragon attacks! Im tired of having to reload saves because the blacksmiths wife decided to lead the charge against a blood dragon.
- when npcs are shot by a stealth ranged atack, they shouldnt go back to their normal routines after 5 seconds while saying "oh theres an arrow on my neck, must have been the wind" thats just utterly stupid. When engaged, they should allways stay in alert mode, searching around for you.
- make wolves more dangerous, increase the size of the packs god damnit. That howl should make u tremble, not make you sigh.
- add more random encounters? Your creation engine is just BS, we allways get the same lost farmer, the same mercenary, we cant do anything with them, there r no quests related, no tasks, no nothing. In red dead redemption random encounters required u to do something and actually made u steer of ur course to aid them.
- horses arent warriors, script them so that they dont charge into an enemy camp ruining ur sneaky ambush -.-
- This probably cant be fixed, but skyrim feels like a populational desert, the towns feel small, and lowly populated, you allways see the same faces, its like the whole population of skyrim is around 200 people -.- the battles are small (the "great" battle of whiterun was a 10 vs 10 battle -.-) I dont know.... every npc in the game feels essential, in oblivion u had essentials and cannon fodders, this game clearly lacks cannon fodders, normal civilians white routine lifes but with no ties to the plot, people that u can actually kill and rob without ruining ur game, oblivion had sh!tloads of non essential characters. 80% of skyrims population drops to their knees when killed only to get back up 10 secs later, so much for freedom.
- this cannot be fixed either, but in my opinion, u really screwd up with the dragonborn thing, it completely locks you and prevents you from being whoever you want to be, wich is the main point in the game! If im beeing burdened by the title of dragonborn, hero of skyrim since the 1st minute of play, its a bit hard to roll an evil character, or even a thief. I mean... im the hero of the people, yet im killing and murdering and robbing the exact same people. In oblivion you were a peasant, who, by mere luck crossed paths with the emperor. At no point you are burdened by titles or responsabilities, you are whoever you want since the begining, no strings attached, no hidden cache, just free play. Skyrim forces you to be the typical nord warrior, rescuer of the people, even doing quests for the daedric lords feels out of place because of beeing dragonborn.
