Question to pc users regarding 1.5.

Hey sorry for Bringing up this topic again, But does anyone have any screens of the new snow?

No, but I've been in it a lot over the past week, and I really don't see any humongous difference than before. Snow is snow. Whatever the improvement, it's nothing as obvious as the water fixes.

Some pics from my wood elf hunter, first is in the ocean east of Solitude, second is a skinnydip in the lake near Riften... (but nothing risque)

Definitely murkier than before, but you can still see well enough to get around.
Yepp, that's how it looks for me. Sans the nekkid lady ...

I just wish there were more things to explore underwater now...

One thing is they've managed to fix the water surface area error, where if you're just underneath the surface without being completely underwater, you can see with perfect clarity. It's been that way since Morrowind, Oblivion, and in both Fallouts, I actually just assumed it was an engine thing. Now we have very nice underwater visuals and no weirdness.

I kind of miss that surface thing now, in a nostalgic way...

It made searching so much easier...

The water all around skyrim sure seems murky. It seems to me that some water should be murky and some water should not. But that's a minor quibble.

I agree with this. Last night is the first time I went into the water when I swam across that large river near Solitude. I thought that the water had a brownish tint to it the entire time, and that had not been there before.

How are the new under water visuals? Are they any good?

Depth of Field Perception. Focus on you, background is out of focus. Similar to real life underwater traversing.

If your PC can handle it, I suggest you try the new http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=13268, and use the Get Wet option....when you emerge from the water, you'll be dripping a bit for a short while, very nich touch.
The Get Wet option is available in the NMM-installer.
